dsongop I think that I had a bit of a change of opinion. 1. I recognize the merits of tiberius. He is other than anthony, the only cavarly general with march. Furthermore, assualt and jungle lvl 3... nice! He might actually be viable early on. With the flag, you will have someone with lvl 4 jungle fighting with the flag early on. 2. I think that after using Cassius for a bit, I have to say that i think that he is ok, but Segestes is a far better purchase. Rumor + Jungle + Ambush is a decent skill set, but he starts off at lvl 1 jungle and lvl 1 ambush (you can pretty much forget about it triggering) and chilliarch rank. He costs 140 medals more than segestes. But segestes has a really powerful talent as well. He right off the bat has 2 bonuses which will trigger all the time. Furthermore, you can use him on cavarly or in naval combat, and he’ll still not be much worse. With a golden ring, I imagine him being an insanely powerful hybrid for 160 medals.

I never took a second look at Segestes. Trebonius really intrigues me though. I feel like he is worth buying because you really can't lose anything; only 82 medals. His talent single handedly makes Burebista look foolish. Early on in campaign, put him on a bowman and he'll have view of the surrounding 3 grids, quite powerful in my opinion. Plus he has march (not worth upgrading though), so he's fast. For cavalry generals, I would argue that guerilla or cavalry commander must be needed in the end game, which sadly eliminates Tiberius. Also, as the second emperor of Rome, doesn't really make sense to make him start off as Legatus.

But if ver won’t be on my team, burebista won’t either. Yeah with Tiberius, huo arminius anthony and scipio are superior so there is not real reason for him to be on the end game slot. With trebonius, he definitely is worth purchasing early on.

Trebonius is good in early game, but Pedius is better imo because Rumor is really useful, he can low the moral of strong enemys and you can kill them really easy.

Yeah as the only other way to rumor is the kill a legion and flank, pedius’ talent will make the difference between double debuff and rumored

Today I played in campaign with Antony and I thought he was surprisingly good then I saw he was holding a golden spear and the magic disappeared... However I couldn't avoid to imagine Pacorus I or Scipio with that shotgun , so I started saving the necessary medals. I saw it's time to level up my champions notwithstanding Drusus or Crassus . My heroes are weak and they need some milk !

Tiberius will be a great pick right about now. His talent is okayish, and that +1 armor(?) to the unit upon deployment isn't that bad. His skills are great, his rank is not. Needs some medals to get him to Marshal at least, but he'll be just as useful as Antony once he gets there,or slightly less useful. Needs more investment. Need to give him the gallic book to be Antony, and to item swap often for full potential. He can reach a high crit chance, and the laurel crown fits him well. Rumor generals are controversial. Great talent, bad skills. Overall, alright. Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus, Surena is also a great pick. Invest thousands of medals on him and he'll be slightly worse than a newly bought mithridates

Or you could give tiberius a gold ring. Or you could just use Surena on cavarly
