I'm thinking that Pachacuti should be yellow honestly cuz of the massive amounts of coins one can get from ads in the early game. Like one ad can give you 12000 when you're earning like 1500 at best from other sources. And statwise at lv 20 he's almost as good as Robin Hood. The 2 problems with him in the early game is that he has one less point of move than Robin Hood (which is a huge deal when everyone is slow) and that he takes a lot more EXP to level up when you don't have any good sources to EXP grind.
So overall he's a solid starter general. He could probably fill in your 3rd slot until you get Alexander, and could compete with Huo for the 4th slot. (Huo is a little tougher, but just as slow, less damaging and can't attack from range). You could also try using him in ArchCom too. He can't heal and doesn't have any durability, but I guess you could get somewhere with him if you play really, REALLY carefully, plus he's the only Archer Commander you'll have early on.

Talked to a few friends and they all gave low ratings to Li Shimin. The main concern is his ability doesn't quite match up to his price when compared to the others. The splash damage is pretty low especially against non-forts, and the last hit is too precious to let Li Shimin take it and trigger his logistics. Their preferred replacement is Cleopatra who has rumor, isn't that much weaker in damage, and starts out earlier and much cheaper. They usually accompany her with Khalid or in rare cases Bismarck or Heihachiro. They also think Joan deserves higher ratings in non-InfCom due to her being really tanky relative to her cost. She is believed to be excellent against artillery generals and is at the same level with Petain.

I'd say that makes sense for experienced players but for new players I'd still recommend Li Shimin over the others: he has the best stats and Logistics gives him great survivability. Also I think cost is much less of an issue than it used to be since the recent upgrades. As for Joan, I'm no fan but I take my hat off to anyone who's used her in the endgame!

That is a con to me compared to Li Shimin at 1 slot. The problem with tanks is that it is difficult to get enemy generals to target your tank, especially artillery who have a lot of range, so i dont value tank properties (joan, charlemagne, even caesar and saladin) as much

He's not cost-efficient, his AoE doesn't hit everyone that hard, and Logistics is kind of unecessary on him because you usually won't finish an enemy with him and he already attacks from range and has huge HP. Yet I still find him nearly indispensable, but that might just be for me. See the AoE helps a lot with weakening large groups of enemies and walls. That's probably not too terribly useful for most people but amazing for a CavCom player like me. Plus I didn't need any artillery until WAY later on since I could just crush walls with 3 commanders... So maybe I'd recommend him to someone who's playing CavCom and not to others? I mean IIRC stoic was playing a fairly mixed team that didn't really focus too much into one unit type and he didn't get Li Shimin. Pink is too high for him though. I might keep him there if I ever try an ArtyCom team and evaluate him in that sort of team. As for Joan that might be an ArchCom thing, and probably not even for that. I don't think you should invest in fillers, at all. It's totally unecessary unless you're really struggling with the ArchCom people having horrendous availability. She's otherwise just too crowded out by Moctezuma at the healing job imo.

Li Shimin can't counterattack so enemies will swarm him. Also you usually don't use tanks like that. Anyone explodes if they're targeted by a ton of enemy generals. You use them to cover the less durable people among your team and to make the initial attack against an enemy general. You also could still have Li Shimin meatshield in a pinch too when you've got very little time and can't invest any attacks into the enemy units or something similar to that situation.

Would you mind double checking that? Maybe it's not in the GP update yet.

Everything is as usual. Barbarossa attacked two times and filled his rage bar accordingly But now he is about to kill an enemy general and voilà

And it looks like a pattern Iron Duke has a definite advantage now

Purple, blue, and grey have 25%, 20%, and 15% respectively. My version is 1.5.0 on ios

What gen should i move for next? I am in industrial age. My line up is Caesar, Washington, Napoleon, Genghis Khan, Suleiman, Alexander, and Li Hongzhang. everyone but Alexander is 5 star. I got 921 medals. Should I save up and upgrade people to elite? I was wondering if I shoiuld get another gen like Atilla, Blucher or someone else?

Inf based, cav based or archer based? Upgrade the recommended Commanders from each category (Barbarossa, Atilla or Li Hongzhang).
