NOTE: This isn't a guide really, more so of a project of difficulty I thought the campaigns were. You might have totally different opinions. That's fine.
Campaigns in WC3 are some of the hardest things in this game. There are some that you can easily breeze through and others that you get stuck on for a few hours; even days. Now after completing all the campaigns I'm gonna make a judgment on all of them. There will be a Campaign category for each category of campaigns AND a main list; all of them together. Now... lets begin!
The campaigns difficulty is made on account of the time of playing it. So while a campaign like Allies 3 would be easy late game it might be quite difficult at the time of playing it. This list also only goes over ONLY COMPLETION.
Now... lets being!
Axis Campaigns - The Axis Powers; hellbent on world domination. As the commander of the forces of the Empires of Germany, Italy, and Japan, will you lead them to everlasting glory?
1. North America Campaign (10). This one is self explanitory. You easily can have your troops ripped apart by American airstrikes and at this time you do not have good generals to rip through the two enemy nations. Also you have to balance nuke use, as well as the map being vast and taking forever to send your troops to the other side of America. Overall difficulty; 5/10.
2. Pacific War III (9). This is very time consuming; you have multiple fronts to capture as well as a Chinese army breathing down your throat. However this campaign ends up easy when you know what you're doing. Overall Difficulty; 4/10.
3. Operation Barbarossa (6). You have little time to conqueror a strong nation. Your units easily get torn apart capturing Minsk and Smolensk; and you also ahve Zhukov to deal with. Moscow is also a pain to deal with. Overall Difficulty; 4/10.
4. Pacific War II (8). This one is actually quite easy. Just spam rocket artillery and swing around and you're good. Overall Difficulty; 3/10.
5. North Africa Campaign (5). This one is kinda hard because of oil but when you capture the oil fields the rest of the level becomes a breeze. Plus you have Rommel helping you. Overall Difficulty; 3/10.
6. Fall Gelb (2). This one is actually hard to get 3 stars but easy to complete. The most annoying thing about this level is Leopold in Brussles. Overall Difficulty; 2.5/10.
7. Balkans Campaign (4). This is simply too easy. Sure it gets hard to capture Belgrade but it becomes easy to capture. Overall Difficulty; 1.5/10.
8. Pacific War I (7). Literally only destroy two battleships! Overall Difficulty; 1/10.
9. Operation Sealion (3). Easy. Overall Difficulty; 1/10.
10. Blitzkrieg (1). Too easy. Overall Difficulty; 1/10.
I will continue this in different posts on this thread.
