How much time is there usually between update announcement and the download for android? (aka should I hold on to the medals I saved for energy ring and golden mask?)

A few days, usually, maybe a week or two. But go on and buy the golden mask, it's very useful. The energy ring not so much, it's just a good defensive item |

What I've seen so far:
Most cavalry got a 50% bonus against archers.
Most archers got an additional 30% bonus against cavalry.
Most infantry got the chance to attack continuously.
Most artillery got a 50 or 100% bonus for counterattacks.
Upgrading to 7 stars will cost medals and treasures.
Arthur is the only new general. He is an IAP infantry that costs around $10. His active is to attack multiple units for several turns. His passive are Bravery and Logistics. His traits give him 1 extra range, 50% bonus against archers, and 100% against forts.
Feedbacks say the arena mode is now significantly harder. So if you have yet obtained all prizes from the arena, the best option is to not update.
