Yes, I saw thank you, actually I try the same strategy but unsuccessfully (I have Washington, the only difference between the 16 turns Chinese guy and me is yi sun shi an maybe some skill level) but I was not able to have the same results and follow his steps by turns, so my theory is
1.i miss something to trigger
2. I miss luck and need a lot of save/load "cheat" that honestly is even very frustrating by phone and not fair. I can't see another way.
As I say the mission is easy...the big mountain is finishing it by time 😭

As I say the mission is easy...the big mountain is finishing it by time 😭 I can consistently finish it in 17/18 turns with the 4 commanders plus Nobunaga, Catherine, Moctezuma and Mulan. I give Mulan Thunder and the Discovery badge to increase crit chance. At the beginning I keep them all together to deal with Hannibal and Richard. I use an artillery unit to try to set fire to the hex Richard is on. Then, when Richard's health is at 25% or so, I send Moctezuma, Li H, Nelson, Jhansi and Catherine westwards. Nobunaga, Pachacuti and Mulan north. Ìn some attempts I try to deal inmediately with the archer general on the other side of the river, but I'm not sure if it's quicker. Keep the generals in the north out of Cleopatra's range until you have killed Alexander and obviously remember to use the healing princesses. |

This really give me hope! My team is like yours except for Monty where I have Washington instead (so I suppose that my overall damage output should be a bit higher).
So I probably have just a bad equipment distribution or a bad movement optimization (or I really suck on strategy 😅).
My actual strategy is kill hannibal and Richard with general packed all together, the solo arty fire works only 1 Max 2 times for me, it helps but not so much as it should be, then I go west with 4 commanders and north with Mulan, Washington, nobunaga and Catherine, then follow the two path and reunite the pack around the archery barracks/solo arty in the middle peninsula to finish the mission. Maybe you solution is wiser because pacachuti aura can be more helpful with all those cavs in the north.
I have:
4 commander aura 100%
3 leadership / 1 spy 100%
2 inspiration 100%
- the 4 non-aura general wear the mythical weapons so I use their actives
- all my mythical equipment is at level 10, plus I have all the 4 in-game set + two books
- all the badges except the ones from trails
Other secondary skills like marshal or defensive stuffs are only 2-4 level upgraded but I think they are not relevant because none of my generals was never seriously hurt in the mission
