OK, it seems I worked out the strategy for Western Giants#4. It is simple: MORE archer commanders Now I need either to level up all my gens to lvl70 or try 4 commanders. Maybe both Hmm. I also use 3 commanders, but I am not able to destroy the northern giant Wolf in time, and I usually arrive to the Snake around turn 15. Last time, after turn 23, the Snake still had over 15000 life left :-( After a Long time playing, I collected all legendary equipment, but when fighting Snake, I still get a lot of "miss"... I still have only Washington on level 70.

I wonder how difficult hard campaigns of this era will be And there was a time when we thought that Panama, Los Angeles and Volgograd are insane. It is a mystery to me why they continue to work on it, but I really like this attitude! Glad to see you back, we will probably need your help with the hardest missions! It is hard to compete with accomplished and polished teams of andrei or Iron Duke, but I'll do my best. EW5 is a real marathon, so everything is possible. We'll see who is the last man standing

I still have only Washington on level 70. More or less same with my lineup. Washington lvl70 and I finally upgraded Arthur to lvl70. Before that wasn't using him at all. I place 5 archers (3 commanders) and Ghengiz in the North and other gens in the South. I could have done it couple of turns faster but made mistakes with generals placement. Several turns are lost for loading/unloading to the shore. It is just necessary to plan it thoroughly. Try to move Your troops fighting Fenrir to the southern direction every turn when possible. So You can get to Jörmungand asap. Also important to bring full rage for both Gods. First attack from Nobunaga as he imposes deffence debuff and only after that attack with other generals. Full rage archer like Yi Sun-sin (with Artifact weapon of course) could deal tonns of damage under three commanders. Just don't forget to deff-debuff the beast first. That's basically how I normally fight most Gods.

My game plan was to put 4 cavlary generals and arty general on the north to create a bridgehead, and 5 acher generals (4 with archer commander)on the south Island. When the souththern enemies switch the side when you kill their general near the castle, kill the giant snake (save the energy to simultaniously turn on the arch commander) and head on north to help the rest of the crew.

You Will have to wait for Iron Dukes YouTube guides, im not so good at guides, and seems he is a pro at the job🙂 I can only be a moral support 🙂 But when you get to final mission we Will have to cooperate, it is realy hard i cant get even one star. Good idea! In case I won't complete it before EW7 is released Iron Duke is my best hope Unfortunately I haven't had much time to play recently so you guys are some way ahead of me. I shall try to catch up

EW5 is a real marathon, so everything is possible. We'll see who is the last man standing I still have 2x Ragnarok and all of the WW campaigns to do in my current game so you may well finish before I do.

Nailed it! Generals used: Attila, Nobunaga, Li H., Nelson, Pachacuti, Bismarck in the north; Alexander, Barbarossa, Saladin, Li Shimin, Robin Hood, Moctezuma in the south. All at lvl 70 except Barbarossa and Li S. at lvl 60. First of all I took care of the wolves in the sea, so I was ready to land on turn 4: On turn 7 I killed the objective general in the south: Nobunaga ready to strike the big bad wolf with Mystletainn, boosted by 3 archer comms: Meanwhile the generals in the south go towards the archery to help kill the general and destroy the 2 towers on the coast. On turn 12 some generals start embarking: Victory on turn 16: Bismarck hasn't been of much use, except for destroying the towers in the northeast, he died attacking the fort in the northwest, another archer would have been more useful. I activated the commander skills twice: attacking the wolf (actually one turn before that, when I attacked the general on the income building in the north) and then attacking the sea snake. I also memorized the position of the enemy units in the northwest. This was actually the second time I got the 3 stars for this mission, I previously did it in 17 turns but didn't take screenshots, so I repeated it with some minor improvements

Looks like all fourth missions are harder, then. Maybe they did it on purpose because the number 4 brings bad luck in east asian cultures. Not all of number 4. Excalibur mission is quite easy You were right, it's not so difficult, I just got a nice Excalibur The first turns are harsh, though, since you start surrounded by enemies and badly positioned, but once you know where the enemies are, it becomes relatively easy. Anyway all missions in the Deep in the Pacific Ocean campaign were quite tricky. And why isn't there any explanation of why there is a Dark Arthur? The whole plot of these campaigns is perplexing, to say the least...

yuanzhong you're Chinese, right? If so, could you tell me if "hoplite" is a correct translation of whatever the new archer units are called originally? Because I don't understand what these RPG-wielding units have to do with ancient Greek soldiers.

And actually I was always curious why ET can't hire a decent translation agency. There are plenty of them online and their services are affordable.

Should I ask Erich von Manstein, then?
