I think yuanzhong is from Vietnam... And actually I was always curious why ET can't hire a decent translation agency. There are plenty of them online and their services are affordable. Whoops, sorry yuanzhong. Should I ask Erich von Manstein, then? Yep Nobunaga Oda can speak Chinese too...

yuanzhong you're Chinese, right? If so, could you tell me if "hoplite" is a correct translation of whatever the new archer units are called originally? Because I don't understand what these RPG-wielding units have to do with ancient Greek soldiers. The Chinese version is heavy infantry. Hoplite translates to Greek heavy infantry in Chinese so that's probably why easytech messed up.

Dont want to bring panic.... But the last mission is imposible to finish🙂 I was actually not that far to complete it for 1 star from the very first try. And I used 3 archer commanders. Maybe 4 will be OK. Also stupidly lost Barbarossa in the very start of the mission. Need to adjust the strategy and generals composition for this and that direction. The idea is to send archer commanders directly to the north right corner. I sent them with Ghengis (he has Bottle of Life) Here is the situation at turn 33. I made a mistake with archer team. Shouldn't firght Arthur. He is the last to be killed imo.

andrei, I think I devised a strategy exactly like yours, I will post it this evening (central european time), now I am (should be) working. What about Operation Pluto and The King of Demise? I couldn't three-star them.

I wasn't playing this weekend but I have 3* everywhere except for Western Giants#4 (2*) and Medirterranean War#4 (1*) and the last mission obviously.

The King of Demise is Med War 4 Ah, yes, now I remember, this one is quite straightforward. Going directly to attack the tower to the south to unblock the way and the arty gen at the same time. There were two points I was losing time in my first attempts. The first one is the very south-western tower blocking the way passage. You need to attack it by Your arty, while others are dealing with enemies and building. Use Your infantry units from the barracks to constantly block the gates in the North-West so enemies can't capture it back. Second point was the building and gen in the very east. Those are beefy. It is important to get there with full rage bars of commanders and weapon artifacts wielder gens. Otherwise You lose lots of time...

I came close to 3 stars but Fenfir started to run around and i forfited... Im on sick leave so i think im gonna crack it🙂 I doubt that the strategy I was trying to implement is OK for 3*. What is Your plan? Is it supporting AI allies? I tried mission once and at some point they started to attack but that was too late for me to change my plan... UPD: Completed for 1* Could probably shave 4 maybe 5 turns but definetely not 8... not with my current approach.
I still use 3 commanders though, and again Barbarossa was killed prettey early, was almost completely useless. I am just concerned that 4th archer commander in the North is a bit difficult. Overcrowded.

But it all comes down to AI. AI attack force trigers when AI takes red spot in the southern Island. And again, i run out of steam when i kill artur around turn 22,23 when Fenfir starts to run around and AI starts to swim im shalow waters heading nowhere.

In both of my attempts Fenrir is always near the barracks in the North. I left Arthur as final target. It was only building to be finished after I killed him.

Yes, I have no problems in the west, I just waste time with the artillery general in the east and get bad luck with the artillery general in the northeast, his rumor triggers quite often, more often than Hades's. But this is certainly a walk in the park compared to the final mission.
