Ok, this is just a way to think about the strategy. This is the full map for Sleeping Land 4: The Dawn
You have to take and hold 11 buildings, destroy two forts and kill 7 units (with 20000+ health) to win. Your allies start with two objective buildings. They can always keep the one on the west-central island. On the southwest island, they can usually hold the initial one and take the enemy one, but sometimes they lose both because after conquering it, they just embark to go towards Dark Arthur and don't kill the enemies still on the island. This happened when I won, I had to send Bismarck and a tank to retake both buildings.
I thought of these routes for my generals, let me know if you think there is a faster route:
The green team included Nobunaga, Pachacuti, Li H., Nelson, Barbarossa, Li Shimin and Athena. The yellow team included Attila, Saladin, Moctezuma, Alexander, Bismarck, Robin Hood.
Pink arrows indicate that you may have to send someone to retake those buildings, if your allies weren't lucky.
A red X indicates the starting position of an objective unit:
- Poseidon will come towards your units in the first turns;
- Fenrir might go south to attack the incoming allied generals (who obviously rush deep into enemy territory without backup), but once you take the objective building near his starting position, he returns there to attack you;
- Dark Arthur usually moves to the objective building to the northwest of his starting position, when the allied gens arrive;
- The other objectives don't move much.
A few things I took note of:
- Athena can only move on sea tiles, not on land, so she is of limited use;
- I sent Athena with the northern group so she could stay in the range of the towers and attract the enemy fire (she's got the bottle of life so it's not a problem for her). The only tower I destroyed is the one on the coast near Odin;
- all those myth units and some generals have an attack artifact (Gungnir, Mystletainn or Thunder);
- I totally ignored the island in front of your starting position and all the islands with an income building, there is no time to take them and the enemy units on those islands don't enter the sea (the archer general on the closest island will move one tile, if by doing so he can attack). I just killed the brown wolf on the closest island in the first turns;
- some enemy generals are quite powerful, with an attack of 1000+, especially the artillery general on the objective building near Odin, the cav gen on the stables on the island first reached by the yellow team (he's got rumor, too) and a cav gen on the stables near Zeus. Also the generals on the island west of the one with Hades, but you can ignore them;
- I deployed 4 princesses (the health regen ones and Xochitl), but I think you can use 5 like in the other missions of these new campaigns.
I barely won at the 33rd turn. I lost Bismarck and Li Hongzhang towards the end and some generals had very low health in the final turns. With some care (and especially if the allies can hold the southwest island), I can win in 3 or 4 turns less, but to get at least a chance to get 3 stars, I need to change my team. I will try replacing Robin Hood, Bismarck and Li Shimin with Suriyothai, Jhansi and Edward (or maybe with Suriyothai, Jhansi and Mulan) and going with no artillery. Anyway, I will try again only when I have them at lvl 70.
