I just got round to reading these after finally managing to do it and record it with my current game, congrats to all who've done it so far.
It seems like we all had slightly different methods, which is encouraging.

I see that you've started the units trail (though you used the word "trial" in the video, which might be confusing, imho, since it's used in legend mode). I'm looking forward to seeing how you do archers trail 8, it's very hard even with top generals. |

I've been reading the posts on ew5's baidu page, in the last few days, and google translate always gave me "units trials" when they were mentioned, so maybe it was Easytech the one that made a typo, and maybe "trial" should be the correct version. The characters used are 试炼 and google tr. renders them as "trial" |

Thanks, I hadn't realised about the typo! Perhaps you were inadvertently correct when writing "trial". I've been reading the posts on ew5's baidu page, in the last few days, and google translate always gave me "units trials" when they were mentioned, so maybe it was Easytech the one that made a typo, and maybe "trial" should be the correct version. The characters used are 试炼 and google tr. renders them as "trial" This is probably similar to the house/horse error in the new saddle equipment. Auto correct fixes the typo by suggesting the more common word or the typo is not even detected because trail and house are proper English words.. |

Thank you, Iron Duke, you gave me a nice excuse to listen to the 9th symphony in one session , I usually listen to the various movements separately. The allied generals have been particularly useful this time, maybe it's a good thing that the cavalry gen gets rumored at the start, so they don't take that building too soon. I think that the comment in Spanish is an ad by some bot. Can you delete comments to your own videos? P.S. Gerd von Rundstedt, if the dialogue you mentioned in the comment is what I think, then it's in Western Giants 3, not 2  |

I can delete comments, but I don't like to do it unless it's really obvious spam and I'm not 100% certain that one is; they're usually just a link. Google translates it into gibberish but I thought I'd give them a chance to try again if it is a real person. Although that being said, I've also deleted a couple for being really annoying so now you all know to leave nice comments only |

I've almost done it with my super team; I killed all of the generals and destroyed the bases but there were 2 rogue tanks that wandered off I've done 17 a few times now but there's definitely some luck involved the way I'm trying so I hope somebody finds a better strategy! |

Because now I'm stuck at archer 8, even optimizing the strategy the better I got is turn 21, and the only thing is missing in my a-team is only yi sun shi(I use Catherine instead) and some secondary skills on my generals that for sure can contribute but honestly I don't think that can resolve the situation.
So I was thinking to focus on other trails and skip the archer one waiting until someone will crack it
