Leonidas of Peloponnese might be me... I tried to find Sparta for him, but apparently there are only Athens...
Frankly, you should be able to choose the name/epithet, random rolls are nuts...

One interesting setup I found in Siege mode is that of a pure field battle, no walls or towers. It's similar to the player who chose not to upgrade walls, but different.

Btw, I found out that if you pause the game and restart when doing a siege, the corner you start at changes, so if you find all the enemy generals amassed behind the walls right where you start, you can restart and take them from behind.
It's always an easy battle, but like this you can wipe out the enemy in a couple of turns by attacking with all your generals at once, rather than taking down 1 or 2 towers and squeeze a couple of your generals through the opening.

I have been doing it since day 2. There is no penalty whatsoever here, only win count, so give me some relief from save/load waiting. That's definitely a good trick, and even if they concentrated in the middle, sometimes you can find a better corner just by restarting.
The only problem with restarting in siege is that I notice it does affect my starting position when I do defense battles. So I haven't do restart siege battle for a while as I am more comfortable with knowing enemy spawning in defense.
Another trick for defense. I notice that those players I fought in defense sometimes has general focus in middle with thick wall, so I wonder if that strategy work in defense as it take me 25+ mins per defense and I want to shorten it. In discord, a player suggested that you can put all generals in the middle, and build a very defensive wall/tower and skip the whole 20 turns. I didn't test it out yet, but it will save a good amount of time as the food cost to fix wall/castle is not as bad and if resources is still cap at 99,999, many of us will reach that soon.

Is it your castle, then? Yep, to the very last brick :-) Nice, so we know that we are using real-players - albeit with stupid AI ;-)

It took me 20 minutes just to get Guderian (I kept clicking on it even when I got it bc I was just mindlessly clicking), and that's not adding the time trying to get Rhine. Though, if I do recall correctly, there was a Sparta, but I could be wrong. I could waste 20 minutes of my life looking for it if you want, I don't mind

Saw Peloponnese twice and was still hoping for Sparta instead. In the end I settled for it. Never saw Sparta though, not even once, but it's just random as we know it :-D
EDIT: Just now I did a siege against "Guderian from Thermopylae". So there are Thermopylae too, but I never saw them when clicking.

Either we get a "level up" after the 28th siege or all the silver rewards from the first ~5 opponents changed from 128 to 130 after I beat a Harald of deep sea (132) who was hiding between the 80-90s. And thanks visiel, for pointing out the reason why suddenly the defense waves come from different directions. I already feared it had to do with the equipment changes or skill upgrades I did recently. Probably it's necessary to have a more universal castle layout. Do you have any suggestions? Though I have doubts that we can survive 20 turns, a just-skip-turns castle would be very cool:)

28th is the correct observation. Gold rewards jumps to 3K and my highest silver reward per battle becomes 137 (It was 135 before that). I unfortunately doesn't pay attention to the general/opponent's name.
I attacked in total 15/28 opponents that give me 127+ silvers (Those are always the highest silver given when I tried). I miss 1 day for siege, so I will be 3 sieges less than you if you don't missed any. For the 28th siege I attacked a 92 silver gen.
So my siege experience so far is that: 1) The more sieges you beat the better the reward. It's easier to observe by looking at gold. It's the same amount of gold whether you attack are 80s or 127+ silver opponent. 2) So far after 28+ sieges, you reach the 5th reward evolution base on gold: 2000 > 2200 > 2400 > 2600 > 2800 > 3000. 3) You don't need to keep attacking the top reward opponents to raise the reward cap. My 22nd to 24th siege, I attack all 132 silvers general. Then I miss 1 day. The day after I see 135 silver gens, but I attack 3 90 gens instead for my 25th to 27th siege. Today I see plenty 135 silver gens, but after I attack a 92 silver gen on my 28th siege, it refresh and give me top silver gen that give 127, 134, and 137 silvers.
Haven't spend time to figure the whole 20 skips turn yet. Charlemagne with 15% dmg reduction is probably important here. I think the clue lie in those 127+ silvers gen that have gen focus in the center around the castle. I bet some of them achieved that. Right now just waste about 1 hr a day on ew5 doing 2 defenses.

So far I haven't seen any castle with an inner defense wall. Probably 16 generals are also required as meat shields. And today there was a 140 silver opponent (among 137s) which was Leonidas of Peloponnese with all relevant skills at max. chapeau!

I just faced myself (Sigurd of North) in a siege mirror match, quite funny.
Question: how can you have higher reward from siege mode? I remember the first 2 days I was able to refresh and change it, right now if I press change opponent nothing is happening, my average reward just step up by 2 silver/day and nothing more(now I'm 119,ndr) I'm not able to have such window such as 90-137 silver that other players report here, fixed amount even if I change 100 opponents...does it happens to someone else?

Are you in iOS or Android, and how many siege you did so far (Look at the achievement windows)
