I thought these epic battles were out of reach but it turns out they are actually easily doable… they should be renamed “war drum extravaganza” On a more serious note, has anyone done them without war drums? Given that we can only spawn one gen, and my regular units are all maxed, it just seems impossible to me, but maybe I am doing it wrong… Actually when they just released first two Battles they were easily doable without war drums at all, but I have noticed they changed secondary objectives making them more challenging. Probably they are still winnable without drums provided your team is solid enough. I am not so sure about 2 new Battles. |

I suspected they will cancel rewards for replaying it, but they just made them more difficult. The result is the same - it is not worth to replay them anymore. |

I should have considered this. The level of the enemy units tracks with the level of your own units a bit. I recently upgraded my heavy Cavalry to lvl 20 and the enemy heavy Cavalry here are now level 20. They definitely weren't level 20 before. I assume there is some minimum level for enemy units and when you upgrade your units above that level. The level of the enemy units increase as well.  |

Do we need S score to get the daily rewards? Just got A on my first attempt in the new battle and I could not see any new daily reward.
Or perhaps the new epic battles do not give daily rewards?

I done Hastings on Normandy side Worst part is after taking Hastings, the barrier is removed and a mass of enemy units move towards my position. I loss important units on my first try so I restarted and survived with the magic of war drums. After the breakout, one group takes London and Oxford, other takes Winchester.    |

Epic Battles is annoying, on god this is a Drums Battles
The first two is great, you have alot of units/time to prepare, new ones are less time to prepare and more "Get your generals nice and drummed"

I wish I had a more hope answer but its difficult to imagine going through the mass of enemy units without war drums and I wasn't going to spend my sanity doing this with no drums. |

I done Talas as the Tang so I am done with Epic Battle until the final one is released. When I played this earlier, I remember the Tang reinforcements having some Cavalry, Jet Black Armor Cavalry. But now I only see ranged units. It must have been changed in one of the updates. I didn't complete the secondary objective, due to how awkwardly the objectives are placed and the mission ending as soon as the main objective is done. But I still get the Mithril from the daily reward so the reward loss is minor in long term.    |
