I'm doing Switzerland 09 and it took forever to gather steam The trick that I use is to remember that turning an ally neutral in 2 steals is essential, but you don't have to turn them into an enemy quickly. So I use s/l to steal as many places as possible from them before finally attacking them. |

It's s/L (rather than i) and it means Save/load. If you are in a tough battle and your general has defense art or assault art, you can save the game, then load it again until the art triggers. This is known as s/l. |
