Ok so I have a question about conquest rewards. Playing Battles in Owari as Nagano, your obvious strategy is to ally Nagao and conquer Takeda, at which point you're basically playing the easy Takeda conquest. But to achieve your clan goals, you need some of Nagao's cities. If you achieve hegemony doee it automatically complete the mission and give the rewards, or do you need to backstab Nagao at some point?

Woohoo! Got my lowest turn finish with a one star! And I killed Ashikaga in the process!

Woohoo! Got my lowest turn finish with a one star! And I killed Ashikaga in the process! I am telling you 1* clans for some reasons are easier to play to achieve domination. Try Tsutsui

Yoshimoto still dies even if Oda is gone before the event hilariously enough. (And yes I do have Kenshin, which helps but you can do this as F2P)

So you got S rank although there is a huge Takeda and yet strong Miyoshi around? What was your prestige at the end?

So you got S rank although there is a huge Takeda and yet strong Miyoshi around? What was your prestige at the end? S rank is pretty much a foregone conclusion to me. I’ve never even been close to dropping below 200000 score. Probably because time is a very important factor and I try to win fast. So my strat was to immediately attack Imagawa and expand west at the same time. Oda is no immediate threat because they have a past feuds bonus and they serve as a good shield against the north. Takeda takes like 8 turns to declare war on you and another 4-5 turns to actually start attacking, if they actually do. They got confused and sent troops back and forth between me and the north, so they were no threat at all. And Miyoshi got annoyingly strong since I killed everyone who usually opposed them, but I was way stronger than them by the time I actually started seriously fighting them, so no threat. My prestige was a little higher than 3000 at the end.

So I'm doing an Armed Unification run to get a feel for the conquest and as I'm destroying Kono I notice that they have a +5 relation bonus due to Preserve Clan Name. Does that certain trait automatically give a +5 bonus when you're at war, or is there any other things I'm missing about this? I've never noticed this before. Whatever the cause is though Kono's still gonna die, sorry.

Summing all the info; we get S rank above 200k ish points which also depends heavily on time and aggresiveness. For domination on the other hand, is having highest prestige the key? Being zenith on that turn count almost certainly means nobody has equal prestige. If we could reload that would be my testing point. So far I believe that pace gave you an S-rank while it also made you the highest prestige clan. Recalling we had several examples of failed dominations,we thought ambitions clans were the key. Next time I will push that theory, I will try to replicate your game while not deploying too many legions which will let me have lower prestige at a higher turn count. Then once I have ally/subordination with everyone, on the xth turn I will deploy generals to push my prestige to see if that triggers dominations. If that works we will know the domination requirement while postponing that will possibly produce lower A rank.

I think I could have shaved a turn or two if I did less diplomacy near the end. But I lucked out with Nagao accepting an alliance on the first try so it’ll be annoying to try for anything better.

First real conquest on Armed Unification. Would have been a 33 turn run had Ichijo not been annoying and failed a 80% alliance check! ~4400 prestige at the end. And it’s fitting that I unlock this after doing Takeda.

Apparently, neutral or friendly AI can steal your cities, but might be less willing to steal other AI cities.
Lost Kiyosu castle because the Oda breached the keep and Honganji, as a subordinate to Uesugi who are friendly to me, took my city. Yet, when I opened Iwamura for Honganji to take the Oda city (Uesugi and Oda have no hostilities or friendliness), the monks refused.
