Now I am confident that I will construct my next Wonder soon enough Trades definitely are not a bargain, but it helps us immensely to get the most wanted resource, namely gold, with minimal or no farming whatsoever.

Oh, yes, I have hired Arnold meantime I completed my first run with 8 generals (Modern War hard missions were the endgame content back then ). I am planning to do the same now. To complete the Modern War on hard before purchasing another general. So, after less than 2 weeks of playing I have 8 generals Bastico, Pavlov, Rommel (tanks) Konev (Artillery) Rundstedt (Infantry) Mikava, Horton (Navy) Arnold (Aviation) The most expensive was Bastico and yet even he was under 1800 medals. So, I have every right to call this team "budget"

When I started the game I just badly wanted to upgrade the assault perk of tanks to 100% My idea is to do the same, but with other, less straightforward strategy... I completed constructing Wonders that give us resources (tasks) and then our investments do pay off, giving us a bunch of different resources. 7 tasks twice a day with 100% increase in rewards should significantly boost the progress.

Also i wonder why ET give FREE great general(Chennault) as an achievement at the Final stage i meant a that time we already beat the game(conquest challenge) so getting him as a big prize is kinda confusing to me as a f2p..

Also i wonder why ET give FREE great general(Chennault) as an achievement at the Final stage i meant a that time we already beat the game(conquest challenge) so getting him as a big prize is kinda confusing to me as a f2p.. I am absolutely certain that both - Arnold and Dowding come in handy. In conquests we mainly have two major theaters of War - Atlantic/Mediterranean (East coast of USA, Britain, Western and Eastern Europe, Western part of Russia and Africa) and Pacific (West coast, Japan, China, Australia, Southeastern Asia, Eastern part of Russia). Obviously we can't deploy a single Air general on both fronts. So, we need more than one (though it is not a "necessity", but it improves a so called "quality of life" of a player). Besides, both can farm different resources: Dowding (coins and technology) and Arnold (Industry). Both are cheap and good at what they are doing. Concerning Chennault, I can agree with you. The only players who can lay their hands on him are high-endgame players, who don't need him actually, because they already have a bunch of fully upgraded excellent generals Yet, since the game is far from over it makes sense to fight for him, because he should be a good addition to any f2p team. The question remains open whether it will be easier to get him when new conquests are out. Let's suppose they continue the line of achievement rewards. In this case you don't need to conquer the whole map in 20 turns, but rather use easy task from the next conquest to earn points. But, if they make one completely new line of rewards for the next conquest, the perspectives of getting him are bleak indeed...

Day 14 And I have built Red Fort! Now all important buildings are constructed and I may finally return to my Tech tree. Hopefully with all bonuses I have it won't be long before I upgrade the most important branches of it.

Day 19 and I have a new member of my budget team. He's very "budget" because he's free . Quite unexpectedly I managed to get Darlan, especially taking into account that I played challenge conquests only 4 times for only 3 different countries. A very nice addition indeed Japan is probably the easiest 3* country to play for.

It's hard to say since I haven't played any other nations other than Japan, Hungary and Finland. But Japanese Empire has an outstanding army and fleet and several clear routes for Invasions. Besides, Japan easily can have something like 110-140 cities on every continent when Allies are defeated and Japan starts to eliminate her former "friends" one after another. Plus since German heavyweights slowly are moving to North America it is possible to catch them off-guard in both Pacific and Atlantic where they are easy targets for Japanese fleet.

Day 20 And finally I am able to unlock the most important technology of the game Btw, I have a found an interesting option that may be useful for all new players. As a matter of fact not a single (f2p) skill in the game is impressive at level 1. So you really need upgrades to make use of it. Yet, there is an exception. Inspiration is a cheap skill that, actually, has 2 separate buffs: 1. A chance to increase moral 2. To increase the damage when the moral is high. The second part requires investments, but the first part is actually the same at level 1 as it is at lvl 5. 30% of probability. And, as we know, increased moral automatically will increase the overall attack by a certain percent. So, it is a good buff on its own. My tip is to choose Inspiration using one of the free slots at the start of the game. It is a cheap skill (only 100 medals) and you always can change it eventually getting 80 medals back. In return there is a fairly high chance that your generals will fight most of the time with an increased moral.

I am a complete noob at this game (the one ET game I never could get myself to like and play until now) and isn't Inspiration locked behind the green objective in Gudalcanal Challenge? Should I spend some time to do that level specifically, especially since I'm not even sure I can pull it off? I'm kinda lazy especially in this game compared to other ET games and want to know if it's worth the effort, as inspiration seems good but rumor is unlocked from the start and can debilitate dangerous enemies.
I definitely want Inspiration on my Guderian for the later game but I'm kinda bad so that's probably a far future goal. Essentially, how much should I prioritize banging my head against a challenge campaign level rather than trying other things in the game?
