It appears the German and potentially the French navy have developed some sort of long distance communicator. Disturbing.

On Tuesday Laurence gets into an argument with a deckhand about Abolitionism. Like many British citizens, the anti-slavery movement has spread to him. Luckily the deckhand knows his place and Bolitho is enough of an old hand to not brook disobedience to such an ungodly extent.

Seriously, its not just a German metal song about Scotland. Edward I of England was King during the First Scottish War Of Independence. Also called Longshanks, he styled himself the Hammer of the Scots. Thing was, he called himself this despite not defeating the Scots, and of course as William Wallace films and most horribly EW5 lead you to believe, the Scottish won.
I find it stupid that he named himself such before ensuring victory. Serves him right to lose. Well apparently after his death but the Scots were unbroken during his life!
Anyway this is me wee heritage. No disrespecto or I will keep rolling 11s! don't make me link to Manowar, that accursed band!
Edit: I also liked your comment despite its disrespect to ze heritage, as its value of discourse was too high to justly ignore. You survive this time!
