I went as far as I could go without a general (past Axis 7 or somewhere around there, along with completing some of the side missions - whatever they're called). For the rest, yes, I gave up and had to buy with money. No way someone could just save up for a top tier as their first guy, because of how difficult it becomes to earn medals. On another note. I was thinking of settling with Badoglio or Auchinleck at first, maybe even Leeb. Umm I hope that it will be quite possible to get a gold tier general at first. For first general I don't believe it's possible to get a gold tier general. |

Dropping prices need strong troops and generals. These in city generals wont be your 1st general i guess
