And millitary Parades can give 15 medals every 8 h. Thus for example one additional Parade (and second general) can double the sum... wait, that's not entirely right. military parades are a example of a mission and missions don't give medals, only resources. The number of Exercises could be increased as well, if I'm not wrong. And you need a general for any additional one.

You do one and move onto the next one. You don't need a general to do one but its really helpful to have one and some may be impossible without one |

Messe and Bagramyan got lots of positive feedback, some for Crerar and Terauchi. Leeb is now one of the hottest artillery slot candidates.
Saving for Leeb right now, just need to get an A in conquest.

For 1st general I feel like Leeb is a good choice. He's cheap enough at around 1300 medals for the player to be able to afford and he's one of the better artillery generals. His plain fighting and rumor are excellent skills, At endgame I think he could function as a 2nd artillerty general after Konev.

I haven't heard about Govorov so far. I know that he is very slow, but he has very good output at a pretty reasonable price. Especially with the jungle fighting skill.
