Did it need full stars campaign for getting lan? My stars is 319 now and asia ruled still stuck at 450 When I got Lan and Victoria, I was currently stuck at the Rise of America 2 campaign. I forgot how many stars I had back then. Also, my rank level is at 10 levels below my nobility level. I believe it was 46/56 rank/mobility. During that time, all my princesses were at 10 nobility. I grinded a nobility a lot because I personally believe that nobility level is more important than rank level. So that's why I had a big gap between rank and nobility. The rank/nobility might be a factor, so levelling your generals' nobility to max is worth the try. If it still fails, then you might have to repeat the process again with HRE-98 and aim that you finish one or two turns earlier than before. I understand the stress and frustration which can be caused by this, but if you really aim for Victoria extra effort has to be made. Should you feel tired of running for Victoria, try getting Lan first. P.S. I only had male generals in the beginning of the game which I used for conquests. Those generals were immediately regrouped to the princesses corresponding to their training skill. I started campaigning when I had Sophia, Fatimah, and Isabella. Maria was stuck in the convent.

I'm just wondering. You told me you have 450 years ruled in Asia. Do you have Sakurako?

That "No matter what I do I'm stuck" feeling. But I really wanted to get Lan and Victoria. So time and time again after I fail, I rethink my strategies. Until one America 1812 conquest using Britain which I finished for 25 turns that I finally got Lan. Next conquest I did was HRE98, which was my fourth time. That was when I finally got Victoria. Two elite princesses in one day. The strategy I suggested to you was the one I used, but on that fourth playthrough I have 9k food and coin, but 4k metal so that may have made the difference. And that was 30 turns.

You might get Victoria. I am currently in class. I will give you a strat for America 1812 when I get back.

I beg to differ about Sophia's damage - when she has the siege artillery she is MASSIVELY more powerful against fortifications; remember, there is an inbuilt multiplier of the siege gun against fortifications and coastal artillery (something like 2x normal damage).

That is true. I completely agree with the massive damage boost when using siege art for Sophia. But for a speed HRE conquest, the high boost in damage is not necessary because waiting for a siege art to spawn will eat some significant turns. And the only fort Sophia will need to break is the one beside Milan. Furthermore, it will take a little while to be able to spawn the siege art from the factory in Vienna, or even more turns if you decide to move the siege art near Brunswick towards Italy. She will be most needed in Rome where she will besiege Balabio in order for Archduke C to capture the city, as well as assist the Duke in killing Napoleon and Marmont. Siege art deals less damage to units outside cities compared to heavy art, and there is one already available near Vienna for Sophia for that purpose. Moreover, siege artillery cannot counter attack in point blank range, which will be dangerous for Sophia in case Napoleon shoots her right in the face. In a speed HRE conquest, fort clean up is to be done by grenadiers or guards. Is it worth sacrificing a few turns for a massive increase in Sophia's damage towards forts?

Would you be using her for your America 1812 conquest?

Just keep that 28 turn save you have, then have all generals get +10 nobility. Once everyone is at +10 nobility, try to reload the save again.
