Antonio Luna , Do you just go off from the kanue guide after your guide? I was using the kanue guide before but I just can't make it work with my personal playstyle so I thought of some adjustments that will fit the way I play. |

So I've followed this strategy precisely, but what happens is:
1. Desaix abandons Zurich and attacks my forces who are bombarding Massena in Paris at about round 7~10
2. Hood takes too much damage from the French coastal artillery and the heavy cavalry dies in the Netherlands so I have to build forces in order to take Amsterdam
3. My cavalry general is forced to go solo into Spain. And dies.
My generals are Sophia, Isabella, Dobeln, and Dumouriez. I use Sophia, Isabella, and Dumouriez. Sophia and Isabella have 110 health while Dumouriez has 125. I gave Isabella a +4 army tent so her nobility is 10. Sophia's is 7, almost 8, and Dumouriez is at a 6.
I'm on Rise of America so my campaign stars are probably enough (288)
I don't know, it just takes too many rounds for me to march into Spain and win. My best was only 37 rounds
Could you possibly make a video guide for this? Idk if I'm asking too much, but still, it would help a lot of players out with getting their elite princesses

derpyorganism, you should work hard on grinding the nobility of your generals. They really all need to be tens to start with. Get cracking on that Chain the Beast grind. Dumouriez needs at least one cavalry pistol, and Snare Drum is essential. With this, I have no trouble getting into Spain, reaching Cadiz, and killing Huarte. My main difficulty lies in handling the French phase of operations (remember, they need to do it without Dumo's help, except maybe at the very beginning when he spawns). I may even consider keeping Dumouriez (or Sakurako; she's almost as powerful as he is now) in France a little longer, just to make that phase a little easier; the starting HRE generals do not have an easy time of it. I think some work is required into just how hard they can really hit so I can aim for the best S/L; I'd be prepared to spend three or four days on the first few turns, tackling the French super-generals, just so I could get that out of the way and have Dumouriez on his way into Spain ASAP. Perhaps the key is to have him cut them down a little on the way out, so that the HRE generals have an easier time of it? Experimentation is required. Have you tried spamming forts to block or distract Desaix? I certainly would not mind a video guide with a really good commentary. There is too little of this on YouTube.

ROUND 11. Go to Vienna's trading window. Make sure Archduke C. is still standing on Vienna. 2. Sell Metals/Wrenches with the 18=50 ratio 7 times. 3. Sell Metals/Wrenches again with the 3-10 ratio 3 times. You will end up with 500 gold, 65 Metals/Wrenches, and 300 food. This was a great tip that allowed me to finally get Victoria so I really don't wish to be overly critical or appear ungrateful, but I must point out that it is better value to trade at 3 for 10 rather than to take the advice of point 2. 50 coins only costs 15 metals at this rate rather than 18. Hello i am new, Well i know there was ton of guide about it. I am curently was trying HRE98 kanue guide ", But i can't even finish below 32turn. Most of time i finish at 35-37 turn :v 700/400 years Gen: sophia 110/6 (*5) isabela 98/9 (*4) goltsyn 98/6 Items : tent+4,powder +6 x2 and warhorse I dont know why i can't even beat it on what i expected >< Maybe i am too stupid ?  Anyway sorry for my english Cheer. How far are you in campaign? That will effect if you get lan or Victoria. |

I got lan and victoria before I even finished french eagle. Are you sure? French Eagle is also called Imperial Eagle. It's one of the first 2 series of campaigns players have to clear to progress. Unless you ONLY cleared Coalition & progressed through the other campaigns, you shouldn't have the campaign stars to unlock Lan or Victoria. |

Weird. I sold all of my campaign stars, and I for sure didn’t even finish the second mission of Holy Roman Empire. I don’t think campaign has any effect on that, as I got isabella before I even beat the battle of three emperors.

I got lan and victoria before I even finished french eagle. French eagle is much harder then coalition. Look at the hardest campaign thread. But what campaign are you on. |

I pretty much finished Holy Roman Empire. I got like a couple missions here and there that I didn’t finish. Right now I am planning on grinding till I can purchase the Napoleonic Code for Kosczuisko as I need him for conquest and campaigns. Then i will finish this one and move on to the next. I found holy roman empire to be pretty difficult honestly. The one where you had to fight austria as prussia or vice versa was pretty tedious. And the Balkan Wars one was so awful. But yeah I agree French agree was too hard without good items and generals. Especially missions such as Retreat of the Empire, expedition Russia, and Battle of the Three Emperors |
