Ok adding some input and clarifications to add to Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby Jr comments: -Some guides and walkthroughs and records eventually get obsolete for example they might have been written at the very early stage of a game when in depth knowledge and best applied tactics were very limited. - Number of posts from members is ofcourse recognized via avatar but is not normally a major factor in adding people to groups. Usually it's more about what the perceived value of the content posted, this is most specially true of new games. Early on adding and posting new stuff that gamers didn't know about adds a lot of weight to the posters doing it. -New group are usually started by the staff but after that the group leaders/members take them over. The standards of inclusion are different in the two periods. -Idolizing member X, or staff Y: Hopefully this shouldnt work since the groups make the invitations a collective decision. -Badges are on the way out in the next version of ProBoards (forum software), I might do a last round before that happens but basically PB is making them obsolete. -Guru rating module: it's specifically designed as a gaming recognition and therefore only shows up in the gaming boards not the social boards but in any case that piece of code is unfortunately quite buggy and may malfunction or reset. I considered removing that feature from the forum because of that but didn't due to its popularity among the membership. Good news on this is that the code developer promised an update and bug fix on the plugin after the new V6 version of proboards launches. By last round do you mean you are going to buy some last badges for members? If so I would really love to recommend some members here that have been very helpful to everyone, especially to those who have made a significant impact in my journey here if I had badge I give them to you, you are very good and helping. oh no, I dont think im that deserving of a badge, albeit your confidence and support of me... I mean I only have less than 1500 posts, and am not really well known in the entire forum, plus wc4. I had someone else like the moderators, and other members in wc4 that I know like acrbministic, paulus, yuanzhong, cyrus and many others

Leonid Govorov , no I tag people so they get a notification and know they got an answer or If I need to get their attention for something or other. Also I often have to answer several members in the same post so this avoids confusion. soonerjbd , you did the speed conquest for WC4 so it should go in the [The way of The Emperor] board NetherFreek or one of the staff or myself can review it. 27 turns in WC4 is very fast, conquests in this game are so much harder than WC3. Mine are still in the 100 turns range   Although in the case of Finland 100 turns or so still earned me an " S" ranking ! lol didnt know saltin played wc4 |
