I argued with a guy on Reddit if Patton is that bad. He thinks it isn't and said that calling Patton trash is stupid.

Him: Low damage - nope, he does more damage than Montgomery and Rokkosovsky (when all three are not upgraded) Loses to Montgomery - Did you do a experiment? Like he loses to Montgomery how much percentage of time, if not then this factor (Patton loses to Montgomery) is biased on popular opinion Very expensive? - two hundred more medals that Roko, when Roko is 5 star tank general (potentially 6) and Patton is 6 star right off the bat The only thing that takes away from Patton is its *Auto-corrected* skills, like entrenchment and camouflage (but they are ok when at high level) My rebuttal: "Loses to Montgomery - Did you do a experiment? Like he loses to Montgomery how much percentage of time, if not then this factor (Patton loses to Montgomery) is biased on popular opinion" Who would spend that many medals to test them? But if you want to, go to the GPW Mod Version 1.0 for unlimited medals and test there Patton's one star doesn't really contribute to his lack of good tank skills right off the bat. Roko at least has one. Graz has no tank skills but his skills are at least somewhat better than Patton's. Low damage. That might just be RNG and go to a mod with unlimited medals to test that. Expensive: 2675 medals is not worth it for him. Other tank gens are better. |

As I use IPhone and it is not possible to install mods, I ended up uploading my save to the cloud, sold Guderian and other generals, maximized Monty, tested it and then did the same procedure with Patton. At the end of it all, I loaded my save where I hadn't sold any of my generals |

@dotcom, technically it is possible to install mods on IOS using Mediafire but I believe that that is a new feature and won't work for some of the older mods like GPW. But the Uno Reverse mod has it.

But the Uno Reverse mod has it. If you want, maybe you could make some mods just for testing generals! If you have the time that is... |

What about timoshenko for patton. Plain fighting + panzer leader means his output won’t be too bad. Plus he’ll be fast and cheap.

Vatutin is also pretty great. The guy’s damage makes up for his low hp.
Monty isn’t terrible but isn’t great either. He is an inferior rommel basically. He’ll have plain and crossfire on patton so he is much better.
Graziani will have 3 decent skills on patton too. He is a bit harder to use than monty, but he is still quite great.
Timoshenko is much cheaper, but his speed makes up for it. Plus he has an aura that can benefit the team.
Patton is really only needed for speedrunners for that 5 star movement potential. Everything else, other generals are better at.
