Definitely not, machinist is better than panz leader. And so does mountain fighting and ace forces than tide of iron and shelter. He is very tough and he can survive a lot of damage which your average generals can't and even come out stronger with ace forces. His mountain fighting makes him purposefully put on mountains which have 20% coverage of damage from enemy tank and 10% from artillery. He is the 3rd if not 2nd best tank in the game underrated by most players. He's only 3rd to Guderian and Rommel (or sometimes 2nd to Guderian only). Just count it up lv5 machinist heals 15 damage per turn. Within 20 turns it heals 300 damage. In conquests where you usually go for 40 turns, he can heal 600 damage in total. With the medal it can heal 19 damage/turn which means 380 within 20 turns and 760 within 40 turns. According to calculation, machinist is 3 times (or even more) better than cover. So Rokossovsky is worse? I still don't get it Not necessarily that Rokossovsky is worse (than expected), but Graziani is simply much better than average players would've expected.

Rokossovsky is better than Graziani Even though I think Graziani is better, I still buy Rokossovsky anyways, and I'm planning to get Monty as well (another underrated general). Gotta have many different generals so I can adapt to as many situations as possible.

Rokossovsky is better than Graziani mrmansterin, I'll say they are around the same because they'll both have to sacrifice either rumor or blitzkrieg. Roko will have a more powerful punch while Graziani will have survivability. I personally think Graziani's survivability will be better but Roko still does well.

Yeah, and in mountanious areas (where almost everything is mountains) Graziani would definitely be better than Rokossovsky.

I'm not Bing but I'll answer your question mrmansterin . Instead of Rokossovsky get Graziani instead cuz he's better in a way. Plus you already have Manstein whose similar to Roko. Then add rumor and armored assault on Graziani and make him outstanding. But make sure you have Donitz already. Mr. Beast , How is Graziani better? I thought he belongs with Patton MacAruthur and Monty in the DO NOT BUY category. Meanwhile, Rokossovsky, (Got that right on the first try. I think.) already has Panzer Leader lvl 3, ToI, and shelter with 5 tank stars. And Graziani only has mountain fighting(mediocore), mechanist(meh), and ace forces(rubbish for 1950 and 1980 but meh for 1939 and 1943.). They both have five tank stars and since Graziani is a hybrid, you would have to choose what skills to put on him. Do you want Graziani to be good at other roles or do you want him to be good just foor tanks? Since I usually can't make up my mind, I would say Rokossovksy is a better bet. So how is Rokossovksy worse than Graziani? P.S. I don't mind the price. That's why I'm getting Yamashita as my infantry general. Well starting out, Rokossovsky is better but when upgraded, Graziani is better. Just saying, Panzer leader isn't necessary for tanks and machinist & ace forces are actually pretty good skills. For the 4th skill both Graziani and Roko will need to have armored assault or else they'll be terrible. The 5th skill for both will have to be either rumor or blitzkrieg then. If rumor is added, they can hit hard against the enemy but the enemy will retaliate which can be a problem when you're attacking a powerful general like Osborn. Graziani has something to make up for which is machinist (healing him 22 hp per round at max with medal) while Roko has shelter which won't help much . This will cause Rokossovsky to die really fast so Graziani is better in this case. If blitzkrieg is added, Rokossovsky will be a weaker Manstein cuz pf isn't present (but still doing tons of damage) and Graziani will be "undefeatable" cuz he's healing every round and the enemy isn't retaliating (hopefully RNG isn't terrible). Plus when Graziani is in mountains, he'll be doing a lot more damage. But since rumor isn't present and mountains are situational, I would say those 2 are equal if blitzkrieg is added as the last skill. Roko = damage | Graziani = survivability In conclusion, Graziani will be slightly better than Rokossovsky due to his survivability, terrain boost, price, and versatility but Roko is still very amazing cuz he can hit hard. Honestly it doesn't matter which one you get as your 3rd/4th tanker. You'll want both in the end.

But Rokossovsky's shelter is even more useless than that because I observe that the enemy usually targets the ones with the highest damage out put (often Guderian) and Rokossovsky usually doesn't get missiles (if he even get any). Blitzkrieg on Rokossovsky wouldn't make the cut because he can't have rumor if you give him blitz and AA.

Yes, the 'revolution medal' gives an extra 30% buff for machinist and replacement.

I don't understand why would anyone give him the 6th panee star. You can just get AA and upgrade.

And its much cheaper.

And its much cheaper. Well, as we say with damage outputs, the more the merrier. Remember that that +6 dmg boost adds to your 6% boost as well, and once you get to level 5 AA you'll be adding on 2 extra damage (so 6+2 = 8) instead of the damage you would get with 5 stars.
