I’m confused about the 5th skill to give to him. Cover or Machinist? While that question isn’t answered, yes, Konev is the indisputable best Artillery general in the game. Can have all necessary artillery skills, and an extra one as a bonus. hmmm I used plain fighting and gave the medal buff, and he's easily doing 600 damage at best. You can use explosives too. Yet another change of mind. I just figured I can make Konev have 3 medals! MUAHAHAHA! |

I bought Yamashita against all guides as my second general, and it worked out well for me too Same, bought Yamamoto against all choices, guy turned out to be amazing on navy, despite not being seen as the best in that regard, and that navy would be a waste for him and supposedly make him inferior to Arnold and Dowding. He is also awesome at air, dealing 60+ damage on a carrier! I hope I have the same reaction when I buy Dönitz. There is some controversy regarding if he is worse than Nimitz or not. I’m going to buy him before Nimitz. If he turns out to be great, no need for getting Chester, then. |

donitz + nimitz= enemy coastal cities have no hope of surviving I’d be tempted to get both if I didn’t hear that Nimitz's final mission is hard. And also, if Nimitz didn’t have Ace Forces, because I want my Yamashita to have 3 medals. |

Brunchminati's youtube video guide is really useful, you dont necessarily need navy gens. Nimitz without ace forces is still nice, as he can still gain XP relatively quickly

How good is Mountbatten compared to Nimitz and Dönitz? you are better off getting kuznetsov then mountbatten, so he's not worth it. Either have Kuz if you are short on medals as a temporary solution, or grind to Nimitz/Donitz |
