do note that mannerheim can either get infantry leader or explosives. The former annhilates enemies while the latter decimates cities Probably gonna go with infantry leader. Mannerheim with 6 star inf and jungle fighting + raider will have no issues destructing cities on his own |

Yeah, while being even more powerful when on jungle titles or Forest Commandos. I prefer him over Yamashita.
TBH, when I play as Finland, he performs better at capturing Leningrad than Yamashita in Japan when capturing a Soviet or Chinese city.

The conquest took like 5 hours but I eventually finally finished. |

Mannerheim with 6 star inf and jungle fighting + raider will have no issues destructing cities on his own Don’t forget that his useful skills are all Level 3, which means you won’t need to upgrade them, or at least not so soon. 2 of Yamashita's skills are Level 1 and the other is Level 2, so you will need to spend medals to upgrade them, while in Mannerheim's case you will only need medals to upgrade Infantry Leader. |

Ok looked at Mannerheim. Yeah hard hitter but skills suck. If you want the gold it's Yamashita but if I were to get an infantry general I'd get Slim. He's way cheaper. A useful skill or two, and he can boogie. Kuribayashi is about same price as Slim, one more star, but lousy skills.

Since you can actually add a skill without removing it first (first time only), he can become a good general, after a little bit of investment.

I'd say he's good as is. Level 3 raider for base is pretty good and the medal only makes it better. Plus forests are pretty common too and helps a lot in the daily invasions with no casualties. A bit on the slower side though. Shame infantry sucks in the game.
