I will revise and say for 1600 medals Mannerheim isn't bad. I just have a strategy about indirect fire. I prefer tankers in heavies or artillery. Every time I encounter an Infantry general I wreck him from two spaces with no retaliation. That's why If I had need of one I'd just go for Slim. They need to make these guys stronger so they can absorb those indirect fire attacks better.

Just looked at Zhu D and he's got a pretty good resume too but everyone hates him. I guess he sucks

If Zhu D had Raider instead of Replacement, he would be a cheap OP general like in WC3.

I've read the rest of the posts in this thread, and I agree on one thing. If Mannerheim didn't have Elastic Trash and had a useful skill like Infantry Leader, he would've been a great infantry general. Sadly, that isn't the case in this scenario and he's probably still stuck in the HQ, wondering who's going to buy him.

I did, and he was a stellar complement to Yamashita Although he is capped at 4 skills with one useless skill which you mentioned, he can wreak havoc with just raider, explosives and jungle fighting, and snipe unguarded enemy cities freely for you. He was very useful for my speed runs, until I sold him for Govorov in eternal preparation for the Domination Mode Exercise in Gibraltar

Does stronghold units include only bunkers/coastal artillery etc. or something else too?

But somebody say that explosive skill increases damage on cities. It’s true?

The explosive skill on generals? That skill increases damage on forts and cities. Any static defense

This place is a ghost town. Let's begin the recovery by saying that Mannerheim is a good general. Necroposting is usually annoying. But I believe it’s not a rule here.

I'd say he's good as is. Level 3 raider for base is pretty good and the medal only makes it better. Plus forests are pretty common too and helps a lot in the daily invasions with no casualties. A bit on the slower side though. Shame infantry sucks in the game. They are useless, really. I only build Light Infantry to keep cities safe from paratroopers and to serve as a meatshield. Which is often a resource waste anyways.
