Wouldn’t the iron cross be better for someone with the crit skill though? So it builds on their strengths. For example, ney on cavarly, build your team around him and he will deal 300-400 damage consistently

So I should buy Murat BEFORE Massena and Karl? Heard that getting him is like getting Guderian which means you can get super far in the game, not counting the other generals that one would get with the resources earned via Murat. Exactly. You lack a cavarly general in the beginning. Fully upgrading murat via the netherlands might take 2 days of consecutive farming, but he will be very strong. Strong enough to take on any general in the game and win, yes even Karl and Blucher Nice. After him, it’s Massena, I believe? I hope Jourdan is helpful until I get someone like Mahmud II.

And once you get Mahmud II, jourdan will only become stronger due to mahmud’s artillery expert

Gone, basically once you get murat and massena, you have to expand the number of generals you have to 6 good ones. So fill in a 2-2-2 lineup

Davout is not that recommended anymore due to him not having the plain fighting terrain bonus. Ney has the same but better skill set as he does. Tactics master is not that great later on as you will take lots of damage from each battle anyway. Massena, Murat, Karl, and Mahmud II or alexander (pick 1) are definitely going to be in your roster. However, you might also like Sophia or John on their team. They do lose an extra aura buff, but their terrain bonus is better and they are better at cracking cities. Plus Sophia is so good at attacking ships. But alexander + mahmud is a safe combo without a doubt. You can always just carry around a couple extra artillery units next to them.

Okay, thanks for warning me about Davout. Since the medals in this game are unlimited unlike WC4 I will stick to farming rather than buying IAPs. I will be getting Ney instead of him. I actually like Sophia more than Alexander I, I had just forgotten about her. Is Alexander replaceable with her or are they equals?

Another question: I’ve heard that the Crimean War has a ton of naval battles. I will still have 2 more slots without IAP, which I’m considering filling with 2 naval generals. I’m considering Sakurako and Nelson. Are they really worth it? Both of them?

Maybe even a 3rd artillery general. 1 star the navy missions requiring a navy general, then comeback with saku and nelson for the 3 star after trading 2 of your generals.

But that’s okay, I’d rather do that than buy 2 more slots for Alexander I and Dabrowski, or whatever best third cavalry general there is out there.

Gone Alexander has the skill crowd tactics (which is really overpowered in ew6) but his damage is not as high as sophia’s (due to his nonexistant artillery ability). Its up to you to decide which is worth getting.

If you have three cavarly generals, you will need dabrowski as one of them (unless you bought blucher) Dabrowski has great stats, his only weakness is that he can’t reach prince or higher. Just need to give him an ambulance and bam.
