Do people think that high price means high quality? Because almost nobody seems to question Kutuzov's enormous price. I don’t think price is as big of an issue in ew6. Remember, nelson, murat, and karl are super expensive. But if people have the slots for them, they don’t really think twice before purchasing. Because Nelson, Murat and Karl are among the best in the game.

Do yourself a favor and get massena sooner than later. He is very strong and crits very hard. Not as hard as karl but still very hard

Not as hard as karl but still very hard Now that I’ve finished the European and Pacific campaigns on both Normal and Hard in WC4, maybe I will focus more on EW6. Cold War is basically free DLC since it was added in an update, so I don’t need to rush.

What I'm planning to do:
Stage 1: Massena (upgrades/items)
Stage 2: Murat (upgrades/items)
Stage 3: Alexander/Mahmud II (upgrades)
Stage 4: Ney/dabrowski (upgrades)
What's next. You're free to judge and I'm in the middle of stages 1 and 2.

I seriously question getting Massena as the starter general considering that 2 of the free generals are infantry and there’s no cavalry gen for free. Getting Massena first will run Clinton out of use much earlier than he needs to. I’d recommend Ney first actually since he’s cheaper than Massena, doesn’t outclass anyone at the start of the game, is better at grinding Netherlands 1798, and is of the best unit type too. Artillery is honestly not that important really in campaigns and serves more of a support role in conquests, but cavalry is a must because of their immensely high defense and action economy. I’d get Dabrowski as soon as possible. EDIT: Actually, the ambulance is probably a higher priority than Dabrowski if you haven’t gotten that item yet.

I’m another guy that good a cavalry general first because we already get 2 Infantry generals for free that are useful for all of the early campaigns.

Here, I would like everyone to post what you believe are good paths when buying gens (NO IAPs). For example, if you want an arty-oriented starting line-up, get Mahmud II or Alexander, then get the other gen. OR if you want to have an cav-oriented starting line-up, go for Murat/Dabrowski/Davout, etc. For me, I just bought Mahmud II as, coincidentally, my 2nd gen so I can't say much.
