2 suggestions: 1. Keep Sophia in the palace. She can be replaced by John on the battlefield, but there's no substitute for her as a princess. 2. Prioritize aura for land generals, so secure Karl before Lannes and choose Dabrowski between him and Lan. 1. Louise. 2. Karl seems a bit overpriced. 1. Louise isn't really a replacement. You will have some tough 'hold the objective' missions, of which Sophia will be of great use, where as Louise won't. Louise is only a replacement for when you have easily shredded enemies. 2. The fourth is Suvorov because you will need his versatility in Crimean War. Plus it's much faster to grind for medals these days with Trafalgar. |

John isn't very far behind, if not better in terms of damage. Sophia vs John is basically 10% crit vs 2% attack + Mountain Fighting. I never said she isn't worth the medals, but we need her more in the palace than the battlefield. 2. That depends on how eager you are to complete Crimean War. If not then it doesn't take that much grinding. |

What would be the ultimate non-IAP line up if we were to ignore price The best aura gens first: Inf: Karl and Massena Cav: Murat and Dabrowski Arty: Mahmud and Alexander Navy: Sakurako(?) and Nelson Followed by either specialist or generalist supports like Survorov, Lan and/or Davout, Paget and Ney, etc. |

I agree with Oda’s idea, but instead of Sakurako I would get John even before Nelson, and after you get Nelson I got Lan, and maybe Barclay afterwards if you don’t care about grinding, since Crimean War needs a lot of generals, but only one navy is enough, since Lan and Alexander can have very high battle abilities.

...It is also matter of every single step that we made with our troops, plus sometimes some good or bad luck.
But if all the small puzzles to get through the map are resolved perfectly , Victory is only for getting another mission,
I mean, you do not have top gens, but good enough to rule the table.

Any ideas on what should I do now? I have Massena and 1550 medals rn, should I get Ney or Barclay? Or should I just upgrade Gates and Massena or buy some items?

I'd say Murat because the free gens + Massena gives you an edge in arty and a strong hand to play with inf gens. Plus, almost every campaign features at least one cav unit which enables Murat to be deployed. |

Got Alex, and it's pretty fun to see large swaths of units getting rekt by rocket arty with Alex, especially on Waterloo Should be good for a while, any ideas what happens next? |
