Hey I'm looking for a team to finish the game, I already have Vercingetorix, pompey ,arminius,huo, pacorus, cesar and the free commander as a archer. Which general should be the next addition to my team ? I'm currently considering Agrippa and crassus.

You should take Crassus, he have siege as a skill, useful for destroying buildings

German campaign is certain. Maybe Dacian and Boudicca campaign can be made. And I don't know how Easytech intends to involve China in this story .

This is an ambitious game that covers a long historical period so they might add more campaigns in the future . jamesyang surely knows this game will have more campaigns and generals soon  |

They never did it. Most likely there were request for couple of new generals like Sulla and Marius and.. that's it. We can live without them. That's what they could decide. Also can't imagine how exactly Chinese history will be added to the Rome game... Maybe next year we'll see Chinese history . We'll celebrate the next update with the last Star Wars film  I'm glad to see a russian comrade(or maybe a russian "wannabe" ) waiting for Marius and my boaih Sulla the earrape general. |

They forced the line adding the Caesar and Augustus time . Stop . The Empire era is long and complex just like the republic time , so they will release in the future a second GCR for this . This game is an ambitious attempt and the first of its kind for easytech (a game in the ancient time is more complex of any other in modern or contemporary era , due to the remaining chronicles that are not easy to understand at first). We have to appreciate what they have done , even if the absence of Sulla and Marius is a bit sad . Sulla destroyed Mithridates with less men when he was risking to lose his power in Rome , showing great tactics skills , so he must be at least more powerful (in GCR) than Pompey or Crassus . |

You are right Sulla would have to be really strong. I doubt Easytech will add 400 years of Principat and Dominat era of Rome in this game, but I would really like to see more content soon.

Actually Mithridates temporary success was because of the difficulties of the Republic with revolt in Spain and Spartacus uprising. Mithridates was successful against locally trained forces. Otherwise Mithridates would easily be crushed. Roman military was far more powerful and war with Pontus was considered an easy and profitable in Roman society. And Mithridates was defeated not only by Sulla with smaller forces but by Luculus as well iirc. I woudn't say that defeat of Pontus is such a great victory and that's why Sulla is so great. Don't believe Easytech will release another Rome game. Otherwise they would call it somewhat like: "Rome: Republic" in order to specify the period, so the next could be like "Rome: Empire", "Fall of Rome" etc. Would be great of course, but I don't believe it. |
