Hey guys I need some opinions on my future gens, I'm now currently at North Africa 1941 and I'm already done with all the axis missions excluding the star missions, which I'm positive I can beat with my current lineup I'm also having some trouble in the allied side, I have 840 and I'm contemplating about buying Patton or govorov, Patton would be a great fast hard hitting guderian I need to get through the afircan campaigns but govorov is appealing because I have yet to perfect clear 1941 Eastern front and an allied leeb will be really nice to have.
So who will it be guys? Patton or govorov or maybe there is a mysterious 3rd general who's a better candidate than both!

As I understand eeeeef's generals are Monty, MacArthur and Nimitz. I think in this situation Govorov is the most obvious choice. A combination of KV6 commanded by Rokossovsky and Katyusha commanded by Govorov is the most deadly combination I've seen in this game. Monty can replace Rokossovsky to a certain extent, but no-one can fully replace Govorov. So, buy Govorov, upgrade KV6 and Katyusha and you will complete North Africa without any problems.

In that case, eeeeef, I'd also advise you to get Govorov. He was actually the second general I bought after Leeb. He has been excellent for me so far. Not the worst decision in the world if you go for Patton though. From what I've heard lots of missions give multiple heavys so he can add a lot to your firepower. Both are no doubt endgame generals. |

Now that I have enough medals for a new gen I want to ask for you guys opinions on my future decision, I'm considering Rommel or patton currently but I'm still not sure however, if you guys are wondering my gens are
Axis: guderian, Leeb, nagumo, Yamashita, kesselring
Allies: monty, Govorov, macarthur, nimitz

Save for Patton as Allies, get Student for Axis. I've heard that the 1941 campaigns are pretty brutal and im a pretty novice player and I don't have faith in my ability to make past 1941 without strong generals |
