I can confirm that the last artillery mission is easy. For 3 stars you have to complete it in 25 turns. I did it in 22 turns with some scarcely upgraded generals (and I even think I could have avoided upgrading some skills): - Bismarck (lvl 7, skill lvls 1, 10, 1) - Li Shimin (lvl 6, skill lvls 1, 1, 1) - Cleopatra (lvl 6, skill lvls 1, 5, 10) - Khalid (lvl 7, skill lvls 6, 1, 1) - Heihachiro (lvl 5, skill lvls 4, 1, 1) - Koxinga (lvl 5, skill lvls 1, 1, 1) - Columbus (lvl 5, skill lvls 1, 1, 1) So jonblend , Iron Duke , stoic , andrei , dain , sh88 , dagonithtr , zabadanov86 and whoever is still playing ew5 (ew7 hasn't sucked up all your attention, has it? ), you can save some medals here (assuming you haven't already completed it ). With minimal investment it's possible to get 3 stars in all artillery missions (well, it still requires thousands of medals to buy the generals...). I've found missions 6 and 7 slightly harder because they require some good timing, but they are still relatively easy.

On a side note, in this mission you get to use the 4 generals that received a personal item with the update: Alexander with Saddle of the monarch, Yi sun-sin with devil twinswords, Saladin with Holy Relic and Bismarck with Giant Amulet. You can also use Henry at lvl 8. It might be the only time you see him fully upgraded I have to say, though, that he's not so bad with spy and plunder...

jonblend, you're welcome. In exchange, you can do one thing for me: show me the money P.S.: for the mission, I think that six generals can be enough, so you can avoid buying Koxinga or Heihachiro, imo.

That's even better, I'll try to forego Koxinga then since he's strictly worse but more expensive than Heihachiro at tier5. May I ask why you upgraded Bismarck to VI (VII), because that is where I see more medals that could be used for the artillery team. Also, Navigation doesn't seem required, but Rumor is hard to tell from your skill levels.

Yes, it would have been better to keep Bismarck at lvl 5, it's been a (minor) mistake, and I could have saved a lot of medals. I don't understand the part about rumor. I have Bismarck's at lvl 10 because it's useful and Cleopatra's at lvl 5 because that's how I left it back in the days when I was doing Medieval/Empire/Discovery age missions. I didn't upgrade it further because I knew that I would have started using Bismarck. Or are you asking if upgrading rumor would be worth it for these missions? In this case, yes and no. It's relatively useful, but you can avoid it, it's just a nice help. Upgrade Cleopatra's inspiration if you haven't done it yet, so she can easily clear the enemy spam (except infantry)

Units trail - archer 8: This is how I position my generals on turn 1 (Pachacuti one-shots the tank unit so he can hit Hannibal with increased attack due to inspiration; if he can't, restart until he gets a critical hit): Nobunaga, Catherine and Nelson kill the archer general (it's important also to be lucky with retaliation on his attacks). Mulan and Moctezuma lure Richard one hex closer so the newly-built artillery can start trying to set his tile on fire right on turn 2. The others focus on killing Hannibal. Afterwards, Nobunaga, Mulan, Pachacuti, Nelson, Moctezuma and Catherine help dealing with Richard. Jhansi and Li H. finish off the artillery general. When Richard's health is at about 25%, Nelson, Moctezuma and Catherine go back to join Li H. and Jhansi and they all go westward. Pachacuti, Nobunaga and Mulan kill Richard and go north. After killing the archer general in the NE corner, Pachacuti should get to a good position from which he can clear the cavalry spam and also debuff the second Hannibal. Note 1: always remember to encircle all enemy generals, when you can. Lower morale means lower defence, therefore you can kill them more easily. Note 2: if in the first turns you are unlucky and can't retaliate to any of the archer general's attacks, or if Richard disables your generals more than a couple of times, I advise restarting. How I assigned the items (I also used the artillery badge from the artillery trail):

I see, these Rumor levels are "historic" and don't serve a specific purpose.
But, most importantly,
You did it!! *insert celebration emojis*

Yeah, a big relief! (still not as big a relief as when I passed the last World War mission, that was an exhausting mission...) I have just added pics of the generals with items. For cavalry and infantry it will take some time and a lot of grinding.

I finished cavlary quest yesterday, nice missions,🙂 Yes, I especially like those with switches. I reached cavalry 8, but I don't have good enough generals. It doesn't seem difficult, though. It seems just a matter of keeping your generals alive with logistics/braveness/plunder, right? By the way, have you done or reached infantry 8? I'm curious to know about its difficulty.

I tried to keep the generals together, too, in my first attempts, but I became convinced that there wasn't enough time for that. Glad to see that it's perfectly possible. And I see that you've put to good use those devil twinswords. In another post you said that there was some luck involved. Was it about disabling Cleopatra with Nelson's (or Yi Sun-sin's, alternatively) navigation? Or about getting retaliation to recharge Jebe's rage towards the end?

I didnt play infantry and arty missions, reached final archer mission and im stuck. Do you have to eliminate all enemy presence in 16 rounds for 3 stars or is there some catch?
