blueberry, did you enjoy your break from the game/ victory celebration? I enjoyed finishing the Odin/Titan/keel sets Now the only achievement left is the "get 50 generals" one, but I need about 21000 medals to buy them all. Now I'd better save medals for this update and future ones.

Looks like we are "forced" to get closer to 50 generals anyways.

Well, let's wait and see, maybe they won't be so difficult and we won't have to upgrade too many generals of the other categories... *enter Loki and Hades with 100000 hp each*

Just got the update.
Ust-Nera city build cost 100000 gold, 80 Ivory, 60 Literature
Don't have time to play now, but just for info
Units trail - infantry - first battle: You can have 4 infantry generals, and have to destroy five gods: Zeus (1353 HP), Athena (1380), Hades (1103), Poseidon (1303) (on each corner of the map, you have each of your general placed next to those gods) and finally Odin (1576) in the center behind the walls. The timing is 10, 15, and 20 turns for three, two, and one star, respectively.
So no Loki with 100000 HP (well, yet).
Units Trail obtainable items: Infantry: Saddle of Monarch and Badge of Infantry
Cavalry: Holy Relic (+70 defense, +300 HP, +40 HP regeneration) - exclusive for Saladin: +50% chance to attack twice when attacking (probably similarly as Nobunaga/Richard) Badge of Cavalry (+120 HP, +3 movement, +180 evasion)
Archer: Devil Twinswords (+105 attack, +7% crit. hit chance, +18% crit. damage) - exclusive for Yi Sun-shin: can attack farther enemies on the sea (not sure if that means when he is on the sea, or when enemies are on the sea...) Badge of Archer (+400 Hit, +5% crit. hit chance, +10% crit. damage)
Artillery: Giant Amulet (+50 attack, +50 defense, +600 Hit) - exclusive for Bismarck: can attack nearby enemies (now THAT's interesting :-) ) Badge of Artillery (+100 attack, +15% crit. damage, +30 HP regeneration)
Btw. Arthur friendliness bonuses are: +40 defense, +15% crit. damage, +10 initial rage, +10% crit. hit chance, and +55 attack.
EDIT: It seems that the "enhance some skills" can be that Cure Master has now +270HP to nearby units (originally +150HP), and Formation Expert has now +270% damage to one additional unit nearby (originally +150%) Don't know about Cure Expert (I think it was +100HP maximum?) or Formation Master (but it seems also buffed, my Alexander has level 1 +110% and level 2 +120% - I think level 2 was originally 115%)

They start changing skills after all this time... EW7 is really having a bad influence over Easytech And Iron Duke 's galleries need to be updated once again. And also jonblend's tables

And I understand that the Cure skills needed to be increased with the power creep we had since they were introduced. Why not change them to percentage of max HP based like the bottle of life? Since probably nobody uses the active extra damage skills, maybe they want to make non aura generals more attractive..
About changing the tables I guess that having the final value of a skill is most important.

Sorry for slight misinformation, formation expert has only +230%, not 270%.
And it seems formation master will have also 230%, only that it affects two additional units instead of one.
Also Cure Expert (Joan of Arc) has +15HP on level 1 and +25HP level 2 - so it seems it would be +150HP max (like Cure Master was pre-update).
BTW Heihachiro/Khalid still give commander bonus to archers, not artillery. Thankfully only by description, but still :-)
Next update, they should boost for example Inspiration, so it would also affect nearby units, not only the bearer.

So, just tried units trail. And to put it mildly, we probably have quite difficult quest...
In this game I used up until now somehow mixed lineup, but concentrated on archers (basically I have upgraded archers, and one or two infantry, cavalry, and artillery generals. So I tried archer trail first, with Washington, Nobunaga, Nelson, Li Hongzhang, awakened Pachacuti, and Yi Sun-shin - all of them level 7.
First four "chapters" were easily finished for three stars (you have 200 medals reward for 12 stars - then two items each trail for 18 and 24 stars). On fifth chapter, I smashed into brickwall and was not able to win even for one star. You know, enemies with 15000 HP, 25000 HP etc. I think if I used optimal unique items (which I didn't) I would be able to finish the fifth chapter, but who knows the difficulty of the last three...
In any case, this will take me even more time, because I need to upgrade more infantry, cavalry, and artllery generals. Then again, this game will be fun for (many) more months further :-)

I've just tried archer missions. Yes, they become harder and harder, now I'm trying to pass the seventh mission. For the fifth mission I used Nobunaga in the southeast, Li H. in the south with the cav gens, Mulan next to the three friendly towers, Pachacuti in the center, Nelson on the peninsula with successive wall sections. Pachacuti is very useful to deal with the heavy artillery spam. Whatever general you use in the center, have him attack the northernmost archer gen with the green circles. Whatever general you use on the peninsula, after you take out the enemy archer gens on the opposite shore, have him rush towards the other wall sections that block the narrow stretch of land, so he can get to the center of the map. The gen next to the 3 friendly towers should just attack the wall section, the 3 friendly towers will destroy the enemy tower.

Anyway, I like these new missions, the last ones seem complicated, with your generals starting scattered on the map or in small groups, and with lots of switches. For the first missions, only a few generals are required, then the number increases, so we will definitely need to have some good generals for each category. This is where IAPs will prove their might, I guess, since they're the best in their categories...
