I didnt play infantry and arty missions, reached final archer mission and im stuck. Do you have to eliminate all enemy presence in 16 rounds for 3 stars or is there some catch? You have to kill every unit, destroy the two forts/town centres, and occupy the buildings. You can only avoid destroying the defence towers.

Congrats, you beat me to it by a couple of days I should have the video up later today. Nice strategy. I tried to keep the generals together, too, in my first attempts, but I became convinced that there wasn't enough time for that. Glad to see that it's perfectly possible. And I see that you've put to good use those devil twinswords. In another post you said that there was some luck involved. Was it about disabling Cleopatra with Nelson's (or Yi Sun-sin's, alternatively) navigation? Or about getting retaliation to recharge Jebe's rage towards the end? I think I was mostly referring to the two tanks that go south for the factory and stables; the first few times I tried it this way they didn't do that, then it became sometimes and recently it's been every time - so I guess it's probably triggered by something I do. Anyway, it took me longer than it should've to think of sending Jebe back over there to solve that particular problem Of course there's still an element of luck with things like Rumor/Navigation and Evasion involved, and perhaps I'll have to try a different way in my other game as I don't have Yi for a start.

I can confirm that the last artillery mission is easy. For 3 stars you have to complete it in 25 turns. I did it in 22 turns with some scarcely upgraded generals (and I even think I could have avoided upgrading some skills): - Bismarck (lvl 7, skill lvls 1, 10, 1) - Li Shimin (lvl 6, skill lvls 1, 1, 1) - Cleopatra (lvl 6, skill lvls 1, 5, 10) - Khalid (lvl 7, skill lvls 6, 1, 1) - Heihachiro (lvl 5, skill lvls 4, 1, 1) - Koxinga (lvl 5, skill lvls 1, 1, 1) - Columbus (lvl 5, skill lvls 1, 1, 1) So jonblend , Iron Duke , stoic , andrei , dain , sh88 , dagonithtr , zabadanov86 and whoever is still playing ew5 (ew7 hasn't sucked up all your attention, has it? ), you can save some medals here (assuming you haven't already completed it ). With minimal investment it's possible to get 3 stars in all artillery missions (well, it still requires thousands of medals to buy the generals...). I've found missions 6 and 7 slightly harder because they require some good timing, but they are still relatively easy. I've completed just now arty 8, I confirm that the whole trail is doable with a minimal investment even if the last two mission have 7/8 slots I used just 5 generals and even not fully upgraded. My team was: -napoleon lvl 7 -li Shimin lvl 7 -khalid lvl 6 -bismark lvl 6 -cleopatra lvl 6 The only important skills to master are spy/commander/attack for Khalid and inspiration for Cleo, rumor(nap, Bismarck and Cleo) is just a plus and situational together with hp bonus I completely skip buying heiachiro, koxinga and Columbus that were already in my list, saving a lot of medals

Now I've personally put archer 8 in stand by since a bit stuck about trying, waiting to upgrade my team a bit more. Arty was easy and painless and now I'm focus on the cav trail but seems more harsh as well as grinding medals to have a competitive team. Inf trail on this way will be a hell since infcom is the most uncommon/weakest choice before the latest upgrade. I will be grateful if someone that is trying to crack inf/cav trail can share opinions and advices about a useful team to upgrade that can be effective enough for them, that will save thousands of medals to grind😥

Funny thing is that EW5 has much more content then what EW7 has. I literally shredded the whole of EW7 in like a week or so. I haven’t cleared every single hard stage, but I cleared pretty much up to the latest hard stage (cant clear that last stage because it is actually hard) but yeah. It takes me soo long to finish EW5 and it still gets updated. Lmao. Also the strategy required is somewhat more than EW7, as you have to know what skills to invest in, what to stack, and what lineup works in certain situations. My friend tried EW7 and EW5. He wasn’t a strageic person, so he gave up on chapter 2 in EW5, but he did well in EW7. So yeah. I will never give up my attention on this game, no matter how many updates EW7 gets.

Cavalry 8: At first I thought : "Oh, it's the same map as artillery 8, it can't be much worse". Wrong assumption. Spam is heavy and there are only 20 turns to get 3 stars. There are a lot of enemy generals and they try to sneak behind you to steal the objectives. Anyway I could do it with a relatively cheap team. I even used mighty Henry the Lion! But I strongly recommend to have better generals (and don't use Henry!). By going cheap, I unnecessarily made everything more complicated. I saved a lot of medals, though... I used these generals:

I saw that your Edward is using no commander aura, as well as some important skills like Asoka aura and bugle are not upgraded also. In my mind they should play a heavy parts in the trail so that is surprising me, is that cav trail so easy? Since now I reached cav 4 but I cannot reach 3 star
So far congratulations for your results, the team you had is not the strongest one!

Commander skills are very useful, but most of the times our generals start isolated or in small groups, so the usefulness of those skills is somewhat reduced, that's why I didn't upgrade it. I used Edward mainly for his leadership. I did upgrade Asoka's commander skill (not fully) and inspiration, though. Or you mean Huo's bugle? But cavalry 7 and 8 are quite hard. I advise getting Blücher.

There was another update the 10th of April, I got excited but I didn't found any description about, so maybe was just for minor bugs fixing

Cavlary 8 was hard, but I found a a good tactic. Gingis kahn, Asoka and Blucher on north, Attila, Saladin and Suri on south. North team go all the way to the middle castle VP, but south team when southern VP is captured swim acros the river and kill Arthur and Athena.

Yes. The VP with Zeus is another thing. Let the cannon kill Zeus and just take it with Fenfir. P. S. Cannon is obtained when you take green point.

I killed Arthur with my central team and Athena came north to meet my main team after I'd opened up the northernmost wall, but your way seems potentially more reliable as I don't know if you can count on her doing that every time.
