yes is it was doable. But i would need a picture idk anymore what the setting was. Thanks, I've already completed Nagoya. The final boss (3 generals) is easy. I haven’t decided on the next expedition, although I still have no money... kinotsaky expedition is the hardest expedition by far |

So, presumably, the order of increasing difficulty for 400k expeditions is:
1. Nagoya
2. Shimabara
3. Namioka
4. Kimotsuki
Any comments?

For that we need to maintain our whole army. For that matter I find several things useful; ~save the Best generals later, use 1-2 strong generals and support them with healers. Equipping this generals with heal items also help. ~try to avoid paths with higher number of events. Idk how random the events are but in Kimotsuki i got several - 10-12% strength and this definetely means game over. Maybe save before selecting the path and reload if unlucky. About some choices Id say "do not take the mountain path, dont try to capture samurai, do not try to salvage goods from fire, investigate the spy report". ~make the Best of artilery and teppo units early on. Never use them during night battles, deploy them later on when sun rises if necessary. mori, hojo, motochika, suzuki, shimazu extremely useful eliminating mass enemy troops,do not let the enemy ninjas or artilery bleed them. ~depending on your army choose +damage/crit chance bonuses rather than - damage received. If I make two mistakes my progress is doomed. These might prove useful to some. I would appreciate more tips as well if anyone likes to share. |

How bad is Namioka (Nanbu clan, NE Japan)?
For me, in terms of daily income, I can pick either the Shimazu with Kimotsuki or the Nambu with Namioka to take down. (Both have 800k coppers' worth of costs to defeat by building castles.)
If Kimotsuki is bad, is Namioka a better choice?

Just finished shimabara. 400k well spent? 😆 idk. My health was very low most of the time. But i rly liked the final boss mission honestly.
I never paid attention to the rewards during (not sweep...) expedition does sb have a list of items we get? Bc i think rewards are the same and only the amount of copper differs, but i for one cab only pay attention next week if i dont forget. Real question: do we get magatama?

Namioka has to be much easier with lvl 11 enemies than kimotsuki. truhses just posted the difficulty. But i havent played namioka yet still. |

Well, the question remains open: does anyone complete Kimotsuki?  I still have one battle left before the final encounter. But half of my team is dead or in desperate need for healing. Even if I can beat it I am almost sure will lose to the boss. So, I decided to save my resources and fight another day. |

These are sweep prizes for Kimotsuki expedition, definitely not worth spending 400000 coins. Namioka, lvl 11 - 12 enemies, gives 4.5k copper, the materials for upgrading war gears, 10 Ban-kin, and Hairpins. Looks like I know where I'll be sweeping. Used the same team of OP Keiji, Yoshihiro, Hanzō, Oichi, healing monk, Kazumasu, Ieyasu, and Motonari. Motochika on occasions, who replaced the fallen Hanzō in the final battle. Along the top path, there is a Masamune with his equipment set at a high lvl, for a common boss lvl. Either he flees from the start or afterwards and he flees far. His active deals 100 AOE dmg around a target, I think. Final boss is 3 targets of 5-6 gens present with escorts. No tricks. |
