What are the tactics to combat Oda? Does it make sense not to attack him immediately and wait for the arrival of two more reinforcement generals?

Yep, it is near to pointless to attack him during first turns, since he will heal himself. Only when all your generals can participate in an attack you can easily destroy his moral and damage him severely.

Has anyone found in Shimabara a battle with legendary materials as rewards before the final hard stage? So far I only discovered one: namely, the last hard stage on the central road. I bet, there is another one...

Last time I thought he healed when I summoned the second party.

Then attack him with all your might and destroy his moral. When he is disabled nothing will help him.

If you don't want to use any healing portions then use mostly ranged units and don't depend on moral drop. Just attack him from a distance. Here is an example how to beat him without rations. At first don't attack him with your melee units, just harassing him with your archers and teppo units. Concentrate your efforts on killing his reinforcements. Then encircle him. Some cavalry and Infantry units will die without rations, but with all this firepower he is a dead man anyway

Btw, here are some tricks useful in preliminary battles Don't destroy Artillery towers until the very last turn. Use this time to heal your troops. If there aren't any Artillery towers do the same trick with enemy Artillery. Encircle one unit so that it can't move or attack you and take your time

Didn't need that in previous expeditions, but it might be useful for Kimotsuki. One more question - can you switch the healing equipment to another general between expedition battles or is the equipment fixed for whole expedition? Can't check this myself until monday or until I gather coins for Kimotsuki.

So equipment, levelling or star upgrades are not reflected into ongoing expedition.

Being overoptimistic and short-sighted that this may be another easy farming ground I built Kimotsuki... Well, it is anything BUT an easy farming ground I am progressing very slowly and a bit scared of the final battle. Any tips and tricks are appreciated. What this final battle looks like? Is it another nightmare bloodbath with high level opponents on a very small map or anything else?

So far if the mission consumes too much time and effort is better to give up temp...lly. I mean I play there until my gens are falling down like leaves or until I get Sea adventure. Btw, it would be nice to have all the bonuses from the Tenkabito activated (small circles, i have last one for this week.
