Great list! This should be tremendously helpful for new players, in tandem with the resources for skills already available. I would personally put an ‘*’ beside Manstein and Zhukov, because once campaign is finished and therefore rumor loses utility, they far out damage other generals in their classes, especially Zhukov as he has all 3 arty damage perks.

That's why in the start Eisenhower is better when when Kuz's rumor and fleet leader is upgraded, Kuz will be better than him. But Eisenhower can have multiple usage so that's one advantage. Yeah, I sometimes have a dilemma while rating IAPs, they seem pretty good, but no rumor Why stuck with rumor? For a powerful blitzkrieg you dont need rumor but high damage output and thats what manstein has. Apart from endgame rumor is not necessary and if ı had the permission I would have bought manstein. His all skills effect tanks and he is easily the second best tank general after guderian. I wish I had manstein which will allow me to kick vatutin out of office and complete this deadly duo. Guderian konev leeb will be enough for rumor if rumor is lvl 4-5. For the other IAPS ı completely agree. they are terrible and not worth the cost or the resources it gives as a bonus. Just buy medals and upgrade your skills.

Montgomery with 6th star, armored assault, and panzer leader will do the same DAMAGE as him. But I agree with Vatutin, he'll never do the same as the gold tier gold generals (except Patton). Rommel, Graziani, and Rokossovsky will do better than Manstein in many situations. Btw the way when you get to endgame you'll want rumor in most generals as you want. I regretted not putting rumor in many of my generals. Armored assault, blitzkrieg, and rumor are the 3 skills required for a good tank generals. I also find rumor useful for conquests, domination challenges, and much more.

Bronze tier beast or beginner's luck? I am having a blast w Blamey as my Artillery and Navy guy. I can reliably use him like a cavalry unit, picking off strays and rushing to front skirmishes. For the $ I am pretty happy w him in the support role. But I do need a heavier hitter than Crerar... task...

Blamey is a very popular beginner general, but I'd rather get Leeb for 700 extra medals considering he gets four skills, 5 artillery stars, and you could put in accuracy for extra damage output. The good thing about Blamey is his mobility stars, but frankly he's a garbage navy general since he only has 3 total stars (air + navy) and no water skills. Since you've gotten him, you might as well keep him for now, since he can help you get resource rewards. As for Crerar... Why do people buy Crerar? He's literally Terauchi but worse, he's a nothing-nothing hybrid, he's got 0 mobility, and one of the worst skills in the game. get Messe instead.

For daily missions in the early and mid game. His crowd tactics gives a considerable bonus to your relatively weak units in the beginning of the game. With some expertise, even 12 medal infantry missions can be won with Crerar's help.

You know, looking back, I don't think there's a single objective way to rank these generals (ex. some are better on damage output but others last longer), which was probably the reason why those tier lists I made in June were so controversial, so I was wondering if you could put in brackets what roles each general is best suited for? Like for tank generals, you could say which generals are best for damage-outputting, support roles, run-and-gun, speed running, defense, etc.

Two pure damage-output Generals will out-damage a support and damage general, a run-and-gun gen is an output general, speed running is entirely based upon output, and defense comes from rumor and health.

I know, I was just giving examples. I guess there would simply be three classes then; attack, support, and defense.

Mr. Beast , Fantastic list great work! But from a VERY personal stand point Bock should be in the green, since Bock is a half decent general with skills just short of Guderian, while it can also be purchased at beginning or at the end for defensive purposes. The only draw backs is the price otherwise it is much better than Messe. And yes, he is my favorite general
