I have Konev Him or Govorov? Or someone else? Do I even want two arty generals? Yes you do, for end game. I would suggest getting a navy general such as Nimitz (with discount) and a tank general such as Guderian into your roster before you get another. Konev would be the #1 artillery for f2p's with Leeb coming second (Zhukov coming first). Leeb would be the better choice due to mobility and abilities. Leeb has Plains and Rumor, two great skills to have for default while Govorov, has Jungle. Govorov still proves himself strong and if you can manage, maybe pick him but Leeb's your safer choice.

Featuring 5* in movement, this guy can become a speed demon in artillery, which deems very crucial for artillery. He dissapointingly comes with only 5* in artillery though his mobility and skills often make up for it. Featuring default skills such as Rumor, Plains, and Artillery Leader, he can prove a difficult damage dealing foe if in the opponent's hands. A great helper/choice for beginners to mid-game and eventually end-game, Leeb is possibly one of the most friendly, adaptable generals you can get your hands on in WC4.

Govorovs jungle fighting is a rubbish i think because no one wants to position artillerry on a jungle because of %20 artillery penalty in forests. I think leeb is better than govorov, all of his skills useful, only add him accuracy and he ll open the roads of guderian easly.

If you fire from a jungle, you will receive -20% damage if you take damage from artillery (same when defending). So it is better to fire from jungle, especially because artillery has bad HP.

I have never noticed this, thank u. But with this information, i think they are more or less equal ( figuring out the price-efficient skills)

Who dared give 3* on me? I am probably one of the best beginner gens out there. I managed to finish Europe and Pacific with just Leeb and Messe. Sure, Konev's better, but till you get him I am the best option. Leonid Govorov is good, but not good enough.

I gotta say it's a pretty good gen for early game. He's my first gen and I really like him

My no. one Howitzer in the company. Accurate skill, and he'll look for the Desert Fox.

Is leeb an end game general or should I drop him once I get to WWII Pacific?

Is leeb an end game general or should I drop him once I get to WWII Pacific? Again, same with Vatutin. If you are ok with him lacking mechanist, he is konev’s equivalent
