A beast in WC3, still proves strong in WC4. Jungle fighting's not that bad, there's actually a far higher abundance in forests/jungles here, actually triggering his terrain effectiveness commonly. Though not as reliable as plains which is why I see Leeb comes in front with his extra marching stars. He comes with the classic explosives and barrage, all skills good for him though it can be outmatched by other skills for artillery. The price though  I miss this guy in WC3! Got me through alot! |

I believe he is an affordable altilarary general to get and I look about getting him soon.

If you think eitherwise, Konev will give this guy a beating anyday. For 2100 medals, if he had jungle + precision + artillery leader, he would be, but with any other skillset, he would be inferior to Leeb or Konev. He just costs 1000 medals more than Leeb, who is the second best artillery general in the game. 2100 medals is really a huge amount. It could only save govorov if he was a gold general with better movement. But sadly he isn’t. |

In my opinion, it is only really effective on navy or infantry, who have damage to forts. With the right build, you won’t need it at all. But if you like having a 30% bonus to cities, all power to you. But it is much more powerful when supported by precision and artillery leader, hence it will only work with Konev or Guderian, assuming of course that you want rumor as well. In my opinion though, I will grab cover instead. |
