5* with only 1 useful skill? Meh. An inf oriented gen?  One of, if not, the CHEAPEST gen with at least 5* for any troop type. Yet, tanks are king, arty is good, so what does that leave for inf? |

Instead of Vatutin I've started from this General. I don't regret any medal , after some historical revievs GoG I have great respect to him. He had similar tasks like Pang tong earlier.
He'll cool down every peackock general on his Way.

Kuribayashi doesn't seem to be worth it. While he has 5 stars in infantry, he only has one ability that's mediocre for infantry. The other two are garbage. If you really want an infantry General, get Mannerheim or Rundstedt.

IMO, Kuribayashi is a decent purely as an economic choice. He's a 5 star infantry general for under 1000 medals, but you sell him off at a loss of 175 medals. If you need an infantry general for some campaigns (Japan, commandos, 1943) or as a way of farming resources, Kuribayashi is not a bad choice. But like yeah I'm selling him off as soon as I have enough for Guderian  EDIT: typo, meant 175, not 50. That was a big mistake. |

But like yeah I'm selling him off as soon as I have enough for Guderian interesting... for me i wouldnt want to get a pure infantry general that isnt the best, for those conquests and missions I just farmed for yamashita and admittedly hes much better. Some people use konev as an infantry hybird too, and hes decent with 4 stars and raider. If your very interested in infantry, in the long run you might like yamashita and mannerheim to add to your hq  |

Inf is important, but tanks rule this game and arty remains a powerful unit type. Plus, in Domination, I use either Messe or Leeb as substitute inf gens before I buy Konev. |

Tito ,  ^you were very helpful for my first conquest ever on wc4, on my very first account before I lost it. Even though I lost due to a lack of experience, I got carried big time during the attack of Thailand by you
