I made mistake on the Vindelicorum and Noreia part on Western Rome. They actually may target either Vindelicorum or Noreia. Defend wherever pressure is heaviest. Also you don’t necessarily have to abandon Vesontio, you can try to hold it but it’s very difficult, upgrading it is not recommended. If you manage to take Lugdunum and defend it(likely with a general), it’ll make your life a lot easier. Fun rating is 10/10.

Navia Lanoira , this is huge and I appreciate the effort you put into this update. I try to be of help in ~2 weeks from now with at least one hero legend guide and maybe some links. And, about the links, do you mean to provide new guides or to search the forum for existing ones that are still helpful? What's the criteria for "still good enough"?
What I'm most interested in is the recommendation for new players, specifically whether there is consensus about going for a cavalry Commander. (I believe that this is not the only possibility but maybe the "easiest" (whatever that is)) Oh thanks, your help is appreciated. about the links, the ones that still works is can be considered as good enough. oooh, well ill also add some discussions link in the library. ps. sorry i had to take a break to fix my problems in both school and life.

Btw what i did in western rome is i divided my generals to the fronts. like two generals for the franks and burgundy front, two for ostrogoths to invade also the huns, two west and two south. including aetius and one western roman general that gives three generals on north and east. and i just did make pressure on the franks while meeting the byzantine and killing theenemy on the west side then later spam them out to kill them and rest is just restoring rome in its former glory. Its fun overall tho

LIBRARIUM ROMANUMCampaigns~Rise of Rome~ I. The Punic WarsAfter Carthage was defeated by Rome in the first Punic War, the two sides signed a treaty and divided their spheres of influence, maintaining a few years of peace before the fragile agreement was gone. Now Hannibal has conquered the barbarian tribes of Iberia and taken the autonomous city of Sagunto. His war elephants and Numidian cavalry are invincible. The thundering drums of war echo again. Main Story / Roman Republic1. Battle of Ticinus2. Battle of Trebia3. Siege of New Carthage 4. Battle of Utica Secondary Story / Carthage Republic1. Battle of Rhone Crossing 2. Battle of Lake Trasimene ~Republican Period~ II. The Spartacus UprisingThe rebellion of the gladiator Spartacus. With Crixus and Gannicus as his companions, they revolt against the Roman rule. The Senate sent Crassus to quell the revolt. Main Story / Roman Republic1. Spartacus Uprising 2. Crassus' Attack 3. March to the South 4. End of Rebels Secondary Story / Spartacus1. Escape from the Cage2. Pursuits of Legion 3. Battle against Crassus III. The Sertorian WarThe Lusitanians are increasingly dissatisfied with Rome's harsh policies. But the barbarians know they could not shake the Roman rule. At this time, Sertorius also rose in Iberia against the autocratic tyranny of Sulla. The two sides immediately formed a coalition led by Sertorius in Iberia for the sake of common interests. Sulla responded quickly, sending suppresion troops to the Pyrenees. Main Story / Rome-Pompey1. Battle of Pyrenees2. Lepidus' Revolt 3. Battle of Segovia4. Battle of SucroSecondary Story / Lusitani1. Sertorius' Strike2. Battle of Lauron IV. The Mithridatic WarsNicomedes IV, king of the Bithynia Kingdom, died and sent his entire kingdom to Rome as a gift. The move shocked king Mithridates VI of Pontus. He knows better than anyone else that once the Romans take over, they would start a war against Pontus again. So Pontus army acted earlier, sending troops to Bithynia. And Rome sent two armies led by Lucullus and Cotta, both on land and by water. A major war is on the verge of breaking out. Main Story / Roman Republic1. Siege of Cyzicus2. Battle of Tigranocerta3. Battle of Artaxata Secondary Story / Pontus Kingdom1. Battle of Chalcedon 2. Battle of Asia ~The Triumvirate~V. The Gallic WarsCaesar formed the First Triumvirate with Pompey and Crassus against the Senate. He knows that in order to stand in the alliance, he had to have a strong army and enough wealth. After fulfilling his promise to the other two members, Caesar stepped down as a consul and becomes governor of Gaul. Countless lands are waiting for him to conquer and the tribes of Gaul have made their own choices. Main Story / Rome-Caesar1. Battle of Arar 2. Battle of Vosges3. Battle of Axona 4. Battle of Sabi5. Caesar's Counterattack 6. Siege of Avaricum Secondary Story / Arverni1. Caesar's Conspiracy 2. Amiborix's Uprising3. Gaul Uprising VI. The British Wars Britain's commercial links with the European continent continue to expand after the conquest of Transalpine Gaul by the Romans. The Britons had formed a coalition, and were ready. Main Story / Rome-Caesar1. Landing in Britain2. Briton's Counterattack3. Against the Celtic Army Secondary Story / Briton1. Expedition of Legion 2. Caesar's Reappearance VII. The Eastern Empire
Caesar has conquered Gaul, Pompey has gained Iberia, and Crassus has owned Syria. The Romans have won with fewer forces in the east battlefield several times, defeating Armenia and the Kingdom of Pontus. The invincibility of the legion's past gives Crassus illusion that he could easily conquer Parthian Empire, while King Orodes of Parthian has arranged Surena to hold Crassus. The mighty horse archers are about to shine in the desert. Main Story / Rome-Crassus1. March to Parthia 2. Retreat of Romans3. Escape of the EastSecondary Story / Parthian Empire1. Breakthrough of Legion 2. Crassus' Collapse VIII. Civil War of Caesar~Augustan Age~IX. The Rise of OctavianCaesar's tolerance eventually invited death. Antony, taking advantage of public anger, expelled Caesar's murderers from Rome and he refused to hand over Caesar's legacy to Octavian. His actions set him against Cicero and Octavian. To ensure military strength, Antony is marching to Mutina trying to seize the governor of Gaul. Meanwhile, the Senate has already joined Octavian in the rescue of Mutina. Main Story / Roman Republic1. Rushing to Mutina2. Hirtius' Counterattack 3. Battle of Mutina4. Retreat of AntonySecondary Story / Rome-Antony1. Battle of Gaul Square 2. Siege of Mutina 3. Breakthrough X. Civil War of LiberatorsAfter Caesar's assassination, Cassius and Brutus disagreed on how to deal with Antony and were eventually forced to leave Rome. They formed a new army in the East and Greece. Octavian refused to ally with Caesar's murderers. He changed his camp and joined the alliance of Lepidus and Antony, and the Second Triumvirate was formed. The armies of both sides met in Philippi, and a great war is about to begin. Octavian's Collapse 3. Ionian Naval Battle XI. Sicilian RebellionCaesar's enemies are being wiped out. Since Sextus Pompey had blocked Roman shipping routes, he became spearheaded by the Second Triumvirate. But Pompey inherited his father's legacy and raised a new army which took cities and stood firmly in Sicily. Now Octavian and Lepidus' fleets were coming from both Italy and Africa. A storm is bearing down on Sicily. Main Story / Rome-Octavian1. Landing in Sicily2. Battle of Mylae3. Battle of NaulochusSecondary Story / Pirate1. Battle of Mesina2. Battle of Taormina XII. The End of the RepublicCalm returned to Sicily, Octavian, citing the war, did not support Antony's eastern expedition. This renewed bad blood between the two men. No longer trusting Octavian, Antony abandoned his wife and headed to Alexandria to seek Cleopatra's support. This was happpened after Hannibal crossed the alps, prompting a roman declaration of war. -General Tip: Just secure your front.
